The NFL preseason odds for this game currently have the 49ers listed as (-3) point favorites and the total set at 35. Early betting action for this game favors the 49ers as a sports betting consensus site shows that 64% of the
public are backing the 49ers. The betting on the total in this game is split at 50% at consensus sites, but the line movement tells another story.
The opening line in this game had the 49ers at -2.5 so the move to -3 is obvious with all of the public backing. The total however is getting hit hard as it opened at 36 and has been bet down according to linesmakers and can now be found at 35. This means that the under is being bet hard in this preseason tilt.
Peyton Manning may have used the off-season to make rap videos with his brother Eli and his father, but he is showing no signs of rust.
Manning is still the heart and soul of this this team and he leads the Broncos into this game and despite some injuries on the offensive line; he has looked stellar in camp. He has easily maneuvered the offense on numerous occasions, impressing onlookers at camp. Mile High Report was there to watch Manning at his best early in the season and they sent out this eye-catching tweet. .

This Broncos offense is in shape and it shows.
“I think we can be fast,” wide receiver Demaryius Thomas said. “I think it’s a big advantage—being in shape, being able to go fast and keep going, know what you’ve got to do at all times—that can wear a defense out. I think that can be a big advantage if we can get it going well and stick to it.”
This is not good news for a 49ers team that is working on its secondary. The 49ers released their depth chart just days before this game and it shows that they are still experimenting and moving players around in the defensive backfield. The 49ers main concern is making another run at teh Super Bowl and with starters firmly in place, Jim Harbaugh will watch other positions closely as he puts his team through the paces.
With the Broncos offenses clicking and the 49ers still getting things straightened out, a high scoring affair is in order.
