2013 Dallas Cowboys Preview
The Dallas Cowboys have high hopes for the 2013 season, but they also are starting to feel the pressure of a team with a fan base that always has high expectations. The rest of the NFC East has seen their share of success as the New York
Giants have several rings in recent years and the Washington Redskins are riding Robert Griffin III and the hope he brings to the franchise.
Meanwhile the Cowboys have failed to meet expectations and over the years have lost the big game at the wrong time to miss the playoffs. Owner Jerry Jones will not stand for failure and although he has been blamed for that failure in the past, this has become a crucial year for this team.
The good news for the Cowboys is that they have an experienced Tony Romo under center. Wide receiver Dez Bryant is finally becoming a mature superstar in the league and if he can avoid off field troubles he will be one of the best players in the game. In fact, when healthy, Romo and the Cowboys receiving corps are the deadliest in the NFL. They do need to make sure to protect the quarterback. Doug Free was the most penalized lineman in the league, with 15 flags, and the unit’s 46 sacks allowed (16th) could have been worse if not for the quick legs of Romo.
The defense has a few holes, but overall is a solid unit of play makers that can make the Cowboys a contender this season.
2013 Dallas Cowboys Schedule
The Cowboys schedule starts off with a rematch against the Giants in the season opener from a year ago. However, overall the schedule has some weak spots that could get the Cowboys to the playoffs.

2013 Dallas Cowboys Predictions
The Cowboys are always fun to watch because every week they have some serious drama surrounding the football team. If the Cowboys offense can stay healthy they have a chance to play just as well as other high octane offenses in the league like the Green Bay Packers and the New Orleans Saints.
They have a nice start to the schedule and if they are able to take down the Giants in week one, they could easily start the season at 4-1. With most of the tough games (Packers and Broncos) at home, look for the Cowboys to make a statement and win ten games in a make or break season for this coaching staff.
