NFL Season Record

We were backing the pups last week and that turned out to be a good thing as we won and we won big. We finished 12-4 ATS as we hammed the bookies.  Our season record is now 30-18 against the spread (ATS).

Chicago Bears vs Green Bay Packers

The Bears and the Packers renew their rivalry on Thursday night Football. This series has been dominated by the Packers of late, but it will be curious what Bears team shows up for this game. Will it be the Bears team that beat the Steelers or the Bears team that was stomped by the Buccaneers?  We have it figured out and we are looking to win again on Thursday night football after nailing the winner a week ago.

The Bears fall flat as the Packers play a complete game and cover this number early in the week.

Play the Packers (-7)

New Orleans Saints vs Miami Dolphins (London)

The Saints head to London and they are off a huge win over the Panthers in a game that they needed to stay alive. Although their defense still played well they need to prove that they can be consistent. The Dolphins are only playing their third game of the young season but they have had to travel far and wide. They went across country to play in LA in week one, New York in week two and now they head to London to take on the Saints. The jet lag (pun intended) catches up with the Dolphins and the Saints win again this weekend in the early game.

Play on the Saints (-2.5)

Carolina Panthers vs New England Patriots

The Carolina Panthers are in full blown panic mode. The offense was always an issue and they were sure that they were going to be able to put up big points against a Saints defense but instead they were exposed.  Cam Newton is not right and he continues to have turnovers. Wide receiver Kelvin Benjamin suffered an injury and things look bleak for the Panthers. They now have to try and slow down the Patriots who are off a last second win against the Texans. The only constant for the Patriots this season is that they have not had solid play on the defensive side of the ball. This is really a game that you should pass on, but if you are going to bet on it, take the points. The Panthers have a very good defense and the Panthers are desperate.

Play on the Panthers (+9)

LA Rams vs Dallas Cowboys

The Cowboys finally looked like the team that everyone thought they should be when they came alive to take down the Cardinals in the second half of the game. Now they head home to take on the Rams who have looked impressive and have extra rest for this game since they played on Thursday night. The Rams are still young and will have trouble winning big games. They are 3-12-1 ATS in the last 16 games overall and 0-4 ATS in the last four road games. The public is buying into the Rams which doesn’t make sense since they gave up over 400 yards to the 49ers last week.

Play on the Cowboys (-7.5)

Detroit Lions vs Minnesota Vikings

This game will be off the board all week long until the Vikings figure out who will start at quarterback. It may not matter since we all know that the Vikings win with running the ball and defense. Dalvin Cook has been a great pick for the Vikings and they will be tough to beat at home. However, the Lions have put together some quality games this year and they were inches away from beating the Falcons who they held in check for the most part on Sunday. The Lions arrive this Sunday as they beat the Vikings, with whoever is playing quarterback.

Play on the Lions (+2)

Tennessee Titans vs Houston Texans

Deshaun Watson is the real deal and if not for some bad coaching, this team would have beaten the Patriots last Sunday. Although the Titans took down the Seahawks they are still not a complete team. The Titans are a different team on the road as they have covered just 6 of the last 21 games on the NFL highway. The Texans defense dominates and Watson wins big at home.

Play on the Texans (+1.5)

If you are looking for a new place to bet on the NFL week 4, you have to see this sportsbook.

Jacksonville Jaguars vs New York Jets

The Jaguars are off the best game of the year as they dominated the Ravens in London. The Jets got their first win of the season as they took down the Dolphins. The key here is that the Jaguars do not have a bye week after the game in London and they will be sluggish for this outing. This will be a close low scoring game with the points being too precious to pass up. Blake Bortles cannot string together two great games.

Play on the Jets (+3.5)

Cincinnati Bengals vs Cleveland Browns

This line has to be wrong. I know the Bengals played well against the Green Bay Packers, but they have still yet to win a game. They are also struggling on offense, yet here they are road favorites. The Bengals are 5-0 ATS in the last five meetings against the Browns, but this is a different Bengals team. The Browns may have not won a game, but they have the better defense and they are at home. We are backing the home divisional dog.

Play on the Browns (+3.5)

Pittsburgh Steelers vs Baltimore Ravens

Since we faded the Jaguars coming back from London, it would only make sense that we fade the Ravens, right? Nope. The Ravens are the play here. The Steelers lost to the Bears because they are not the same team that they have been in recent years on offense or defense. This Black and Blur rivalry game makes this a close game that goes down to the wire. The Ravens are dominant in the AFC North at 10-1 ATS in the last 11 games and the Steelers are 0-4-1ATS in the last five games against the Ravens.

Play on Ravens (+3)

Buffalo Bills vs Atlanta Falcons

When will the Bills get the respect that they deserve? Tyrod Taylor puts up great numbers and he has found chemistry with Jordan Matthews. The Bills defense can get after the quarterback and this will be problematic for the Falcons. This line is inflated due to the fact that the Falcons have yet to lose. The Bills can keep this close and expose the Falcons. The Bills have a chance to pull off the upset of the week, which makes this line a gift.

Play on the Bills (+8)

New York Giants vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Giants came close to finally getting in the win column but fell flat against the Eagles. The Buccaneers were dominated against the Vikings. Now the Giants head south to try and get the first win of the season in Tampa. Big Blue is in big trouble. They have no offensive push, they are disgruntled in the locker room and their head coach would be fired at the end of the year. Bucs are 7-3 TAS in the last ten games overall and they win big this week against the Giants.

Play on the Buccaneers (-3)

Philadelphia Eagles vs LA Chargers

The Chargers have yet to win, but they get the Eagles in a tough spot. They have to travel coast to coast and Phillip Rivers will rebound after one of the ugliest games that he has played in a while. The Chargers are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games following a double-digit loss at home. The Chargers LB Jatavis Brown leads the NFL in tackles and the Bolts will beat the Eagles.

Play on the Chargers (+1)

Oakland Raiders vs Denver Broncos

Both the Raiders and the Broncos looked horrible in week three. Now the Broncos are at home where they seem to thrive and they play the Raiders in a very big divisional game. Although the Broncos are at home, this line has stayed below a field goal which means that the Raiders are the team to take. The road team is 12-5-1 ATS in the last 18 games and 5-1 ATS in the last six games after a loss. This line has been pushed up to three in a few books so wait for it before you pounce on the road team.

Play on the Raiders (+3)

San Francisco 49ers vs Arizona Cardinals

The 49ers have a long week of rest and the Cardinals have a short week. The Cardinals need this win and they get a 49ers team that cannot put a complete game together. This line seems a bit high, but it is because the 49ers could be one of the worst teams in the league. Not one of our favorite games to bet on this week, but drop the points.

Play on the Cardinals (-7)

Sunday Night Football

Indianapolis Colts vs Seattle Seahawks

This is a scheduling nightmare for the football fans as the Colts vs Seahawks is not the best matchup for prime time. Andrew Luck started practicing this week, but he won’t be ready for this game. Everyone is jumping off the Seattle bandwagon after the slow start to the season. That is a mistake as this team is still vastly superior to a Colts team that lacks talent.

Play on the Seahawks (-13)

Monday Night Football

Washington Redskins vs Kansas City Chiefs

The Chiefs are arguably the best team in the National Football League. They continue to steam roll through the league and now hold court on Monday night football. The Redskins are starting to gain momentum and looked very impressive on both sides of the ball against the Raiders. Kirk Cousins looks very comfortable in this offense and there is every reason to believe that he keeps this game close. The Chiefs are overvalued and they are going to have to rely on a rookie kicker which means the Redskins have a shot at the upset.

Play on the Redskins (+6.5)
