Brooklyn looks to win for the 13th time in 15 games since PJ Carlesimo was named interim coach as it continues a four-game road trip in Memphis.
When Memphis does win it is with their top-ranked defense. The Grizzlies are among the NBA leaders in opponent field goal percentage (43.5) and scoring defense (89.5), and those numbers are even better recently. That defense will get a test against Deron Williams and Joe Johnson although the Nets just average over 90 points per contest.
The Grizzlies offense also struggles on offense averaging about 85 points per game. In the last game against the Lakers they exploded with over 100 points. It will be tough to repeat that feat against the Nets.
The Nets are 6-1-1 against the spread (ATS) in their last 8 games following a win and 4-0 ATS in the last four games against the Western Conference. The Nets will catch a Grizzlies team ripe for the upset after the big win against the Lakers.
