BYU vs San Diego State odds:The BYU Cougars opened up as slight (-3) point favorites over the San Diego State Aztecs in this early bowl game. The line has moved towards the Aztecs and now it can be found for as low as (-2.5) at several top-rated online sportsbooks.

On offense the Cougars will look to target Cody Hoffman who has 90 catches for 1,134 yards and 11 touchdowns on the season. The Cougars offense has been clicking of late and has posted 40 or more points in the last four games leading up to this bowl game.
The Aztecs boast an impressive resume heading into this game against BYU. San Diego State defeated the Nevada Wolfpack, Boise State Broncos and Air Force Falcons. All three of their losses came against teams who are going to bowl games as well this year, including the Washington Huskies, San Jose State Spartans and Fresno State Bulldogs. On offense for the Aztecs Adam Muema will move the ball on the ground as he leads a Aztec team that ranks 16th in the country in rushing yards per game. Muema has posted 1,355 yards and 16 touchdowns on the ground.
BYU also played against a tough schedule and four of the five losses on the season were to teams who are going bowling. In fact the Cougars came very close to upsetting Notre Dame the No. 1 team in the country.
