The college football schedule for week 6 is loaded with top games to watch and wager on. With the odds out for some of the best games on the schedule it’s time to break down the best bets for Week 6.
These lines are subject to change but getting them early will be the way to go for all of these games to get the most value.
South Carolina over Georgia: Quarterback Connor Shaw is coming around and he is playing at a really high level. He has led the Gamecocks to nine straight wins, which is a school record and he is the leader this team needed. Georgia is no pushover and this game will be close, but the Gamecocks will take advantage of a suspect defense and get the win.
Texas over West Virginia: Mountaineer quarterback Geno Smith is the real deal. His impressive outing against Baylor is legitimate, but he will struggle against a Longhorns defense that has multiple NFL caliber players, especially in the secondary.
David Ash is second in the country in quarterback rating and he can lead this offense and not turnover the ball. The Mountaineers offense will be gutted by the strong running of the Longhorns and the defense will slow down Smith to get the double-digit win.
Florida Over LSU: The LSU Tigers are dropping in the polls because they cannot put away teams. The Tigers struggled to win on the SEC highway against Auburn earlier in the season and it will be even harder for this team to execute in the swamp.
Mike Gillislee is a force out of the backfield and will provide the LSU front seven with a challenge on game day. The Tigers are 2-5 ATS in their last seven meetings and that is when the Gators have not had this much talent.
Many of these lines will fluctuate as the week goes on, but it is important to get the line you want and lock it in early in the week to take advantage of the value.
