NFL Divisional Round Predictions for all Four Games

The college football season is over and it is now time to focus on the NFL playoffs. As we head into the NFL divisional round we only have eight teams left all vying to try and win a ring and capture a Super Bowl title. So now it is time to make the NFL divisional round predictions for all four games. Last week I went a perfect 4-0 against the spread (ATS) and I am ready one more time to pick some winners!

Atlanta Falcons at Philadelphia Eagles

When making NFL divisional round predictions you have to look at the point spreads and this line jumped off the board when it was put out by MyBookie.ag. The Falcons are the lower seed and they are on the road, but they are (-3) point favorites in this game? This is the first time that the No. 6 seed is favored over a No. 1 seed and caught some attention as 65% of the bets on this game were on the Dirty Birds to beat the Eagles. That pushed the line from the opener of (-2.5) to the (-3) that it is right now. This is a complete over reaction. The Eagles are still the better team even without Carson Wentz. The Falcons covered against the Rams but they are 2-5 ATS in the last 7 road games and 3-7 ATS in the last 10 playoff games. The Eagles use the underdog role as motivation in this game. The underdogs are 4-0 ATS this season in the playoffs and that goes to 5-0 when the Eagles win outright to advance to the NFC Championship game. Other NFL experts disagree, but I like the home team.

Tennessee Titans at New England Patriots

There is so much going on the game. The Patriots have the distraction from the ESPN story that says there are problems with Tom Brady, Robert Kraft and Bill Belichick. On the other side we have the Titans who pulled off the unreal upset in the NFL wildcard round against the Kansas City Chiefs. Then you have the incredible ATS trend that is alive in the playoffs. Since 2003, in the NFL Playoffs the winning team has covered the spread 83.1% of the time. While that trend is just 2-2 ATS this season, it is still something to take note of. If that trend holds true the Patriots would be the play in this game, but beware.

Weather and the Titans defense could make this game closer than the experts think. If you can get the (+14) point spread I would agree with this NFL expert on the team that will cover. Or if you want to learn how to live bet on the NFL this could be the game to get the best line possible by live betting. I am going to bet on the over/under in this game. The over is 7-0-1 in the last eight patriots divisional playoff games and they are 6-0 to the over in the last Patriots playoff games overall. This game will have points galore and I am all over the over!

Bet on the OVER 47

Jacksonville Jaguars at Pittsburgh Steelers

This could be my favorite NFL divisional round predictions You know what the Jaguars bring to the table. They have average quarterback play by Blake Bortles and they have an incredible defense. The Steelers have an incredible offense and an inconsistent defense. They will have Antonio Brown

back and he is a game changer for sure, but the Steelers will be hard pressed to win this game by more than a touchdown. The Jags know how to play against the Steelers. They are 12-5 ATS in the last 17 meetings and 4-1 ATS in the last five games in Pittsburgh which includes a win this season. The instinct will be to assume that the Steelers will get it right, but at the end of the day we will realize that the Jags are the better team.

Bet on the Jaguars +7.5

New Orleans Saints At Minnesota Vikings

The Saints won against the Panthers, but what an ugly win. The offense struggled and the defense barley hung on. The Saints defense looks incredibly beatable and they get a well-rested Minnesota Vikings that have one of the best defenses in the National Football League. The Vikings have an incredible home field advantage as they are 34-16-1 ATS in the last 51 home games. Case Keenum will move the ball against the Saints defense and the Vikings defense will get to Drew Brees, The Saints are just 1-4 ATS in the last five games and they get blown out this Sunday as the Vikings get one game closer to playing a Super Bowl on their home turf.

Bet on the Vikings (-3.5)
