NFL Picks: Week 6
The Arizona Cardinals have to battle the Buffalo Bills this weekend surrounded by problems. The Bills defense has been horrible this season, but the one thing that will cure the defensive problems is the awful offensive line of the Cardinals.
The Cardinals have injury woes at running back as Ryan Williams is out for the season. This will allow the Bills to focus on the pass rush and crush Kevin Kolb. The Cardinals are 1-6 against the spread (ATS) in their last seven games in October and the Bills are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games after accumulating less than 250 total yards in their previous game. The Bills take advantage of a Cardinal team that is reeling from recent problems.
The Cleveland Browns are not as bad as their record. They will get into the win column this weekend when they play against the Cincinnati Bengals. Bengals stand out wide receiver A.J. Green is hobbled with an injury which will make him less of a threat in this outing.
The Browns offense is playing better and that often carries over to the next game as the Browns are 6-0-1 ATS in their last 7 games after accumulating more than 350 total yards in their previous game. The Bengals are 0-5-2 ATS in their last 7 against the AFC North and 3-8-3 ATS in their last 14 games overall.
The spread is irrelevant as the Browns will beat the Bengals on the field.
It’s time for the Dolphins to get some credit. They are a very good football team and will be big winners this weekend over the Rams. Sam Bradford is playing bad football and is being saved by the emergence of the Rams defense. That will be exposed this weekend in this outing against a surprisingly good Dolphins defense.
The Rams are 2-10 ATS in their last 12 road games and just 1-5 ATS in the last six games on a grass field which neutralizes their speed. The Rams will be lost without wide receiver Danny Amendola as the Dolphins trounce the Rams.
