The Pittsburgh Steelers vs Dallas Cowboys have a long history of playing some great games in a rivalry that dates back decades. This week these two teams have the potential to put on another great show when they meet in Dallas.
Pittsburgh Steelers vs Dallas Cowboys Odds: The Dallas Cowboys opened up as slim one-point favorites over the Steelers. That number has started dropping with the latest injury news.
The news out of Dallas is not good as wide receiver Dez Bryant is hurting with a broken finger. The injury requires surgery that could end the season of the embattled receiver.
Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said Dez Bryant will be the “ultimate decision-maker” on whether he has surgery now on his left index finger or tries to play with it heavily padded.
Jones, speaking on his weekly radio show on KRLD 105.3 FM “The Fan,” said if Bryant chooses to wait on the surgery, it could have a lasting effect on his finger, leaving it with some stiffness permanently. Jones said hand specialists have said so.
“Dez will the the ultimate decision-maker as to whether or not he wants to continue to try to play with a lot of protection or whether he should have surgery. The reason for the surgery is because you could have a life-lasting stiffness there.

Even if the Cowboys have Bryant in the lineup they will have to deal with an angry Steelers team. The Steelers welcomed quarterback Ben Roethlisberger back to the lineup only to lay an egg in their game to the San Diego Chargers. The Steelers would have taken advantage of a Cincinnati Bengals loss an improved their playoff standings.
Now they are basically in a must-win situation in Big D.
