The World Series of Handicapping (WSOH) just got interesting after a competitive week six and heading into week 7 the standings are getting crowded. The best handicappers in the world of gathered to attempt to win the ring and hold the title as the champion of the World Series of the Handicapping.
The Week six recap is a three team race as three teams finished at 6-1. Our team (Bookie Blitz) led the way with a 6-1 record and (+25.90) and we were closely followed by two other teams that finished at 6-1. The second place 6-1 finisher for week 6 is bletch +23.80 and 3cardmonte13 at 6-1 +19.60 rounding out the top three for week 6. With no 7-0 finisher for week 6 and only three handicappers finishing with a6-1 record the standings were about to get tighter.
Heading into week 7 jaykat11 jumped into the No. 1 spot and is now 28-14 at +56.70, but he has a few other handicappers nipping at his heels. Former first place capper petrogia sites ½ game back at 27-14-1 in second place with +52.80 and we are currently holding down third place with a 25-16-1 record at +48.60. It is interesting to note that just a total of 12 units separate first place and fourth place. Rounding out the top five is robffl at No. 4 and 3cardmonte13 in the 5th spot.
Last week the consensus fell flat with a 0-3 record. For week 7 the following teams made the consensus at the WSOH.
The Green Bay Packers are the most selected team with 7-unit selections, closely followed by the Dallas Cowboys. Interesting to note that the top two teams in the consensus are both road chalk in week7. Interesting because so far this year in the NFL, underdogs are hitting at a rate of 64%.
