The World Series of Handicapping is getting to be a close race down the stretch with all of the best football handicappers in the world going head-to-head in an attempt to be the best football capper in the world and win the ring!
The recap for week 8 is littered with familiar faces.
In week 8 the best record belonged to petrogia who has been on top or close to first place all season long. Petrogia went an amazing 6-1, +25.90 to get back into first place overall in the contest. A new name in victhebruiser finished second in week 8 with a 5-2 record grabbing +19.60 units on the week. Rounding out the week at third was DopeyDaniel with a 5-2 record +13.30.
The overall leader board had some changes. As mentioned petrogia claimed the top spot once again with a 36-19-1 record (+68.90) making some distance from second place jaykat11 at 34-22-0 (+35.00) and Bluenose in third place at 31-23-2 (+29.10).
The top five round out with robffl at 29-26-1 (+24.70) and our entry Bookie Blitz at 30-25-1 (+22.70)

The consensus for week 9 is not a surprise as the Denver Broncos lead the way with the most seven unit selections. The Detroit Lions come in at the second spot and the Baltimore Ravens round out the top three.
