QB Josh Allen jumped into the MVP conversation and Stephon Diggs is arguably the best receiver in football. They have won six straight games and all of the wins have been by ten points or more. So why bet against the Bills? The Colts play better against teams with a winning record and are 15-7 against the spread (ATS) in that role. But there is more.

Count on the Colts

Outside of the opening loss to the Jaguars, the Colts have only lost to playoff teams. They have a credible head coach and an experienced quarterback in Phillip Rivers. The public is pounding Buffalo is the most popular play on Saturday. (Yes more popular than Tom Brady) Finally, the Colts defense is better than the teams that the Bills have faced down the stretch. Allen is the key to the Bill’s offensive game plan. He has been responsible for 76% of their offense and the Colts can get after him by shutting down the run. The Colts will use bracket coverage which is essentially a design that puts two defenders on one receiver. That will keep Diggs in check.
