There are many reasons that the Rams can beat the Packers, but don’t tell that to the betting public. The Packers are one of the most popular public teams in the National Football League. They are currently getting just under 60 percent of the early betting action. This has already prompted some sportsbooks to post a 7.5 point spread on the game.

The Ravens and the Bills provide one of the most evenly matched games of the weekend. Two mobile young quarterbacks who are leading their team to success. The public is torn between the two teams and early betting action is split 50/50. The smart money took the Ravens early and the spread dropped from 3 to 2.5.

The public does believe that this will be a high scoring game. Over 73 percent of the bets on this game are siding with the over 50 in this game. The number is rising steadily and this is one of the most popular plays for the public this weekend.

After pulling off a major upset against the Pittsburgh Steelers, the mission gets more difficult for the Browns who now face the team that is favored to win the Super Bowl. According to the Super Bowl odds, the Kansas City Chiefs are the favorites to win it all and it’s not even close. The public is betting the Browns slightly higher than the Chiefs. The sharps swooped in and bought the Chiefs below the ten-point spread but that did not last long. The spread is now as high as 10.5 at many sports betting sites.

(5) Tampa Bay Buccaneers at (2) New Orleans Saints [BET HERE]

Moneyline: Tampa Bay: (+145) | New Orleans: (-177)

The public is backing Brady and the Bucs in this game with 59 percent of the early action on Tampa. The spread slightly dipped from 3.5 to 3 but is refusing to budge below the key number. The most popular bet of the weekend is the over 50 points in this game. This total has jumped as high as 2 points and can now be found at 52.

2021 LA Rams Playoff Odds: Why the Rams Can Win the NFC

2021 LA Rams Playoff Odds: Why the Rams Can Win the NFC

The first week of the NFL playoffs did not disappoint. The underdogs put up a good fight and there were a few upsets. One of the teams that pulled off the upset was the LA Rams who beat the Seattle Seahawks. Now as we head into the next round of the playoffs we will see the best teams in the league. The 2021 LA Rams Playoff Odds show that they are no likely to go much further. However, the Rams have the talent to win the NFC.

Been There Done That

This team has the playoff experience and they have one of the best young NFL coaches in the league in Sean McVay. He did a masterful job in the win over Seattle and put his team in a position to succeed, despite injuries. The Rams will likely have the underdog tag for the remainder of the playoffs and this will be another motivating factor for this team. The sharps and squares are betting on this game.

Betting on Rams Will Pay Off

Since the Rams have no believers when compared to some of the other great teams in the postseason, you will win big if you bet on this team. The odds for the Rams to win this week are incredible, but the odds for the Rams to win the NFC are outrageous! While researching this article we looked for the best payouts for betting on the Rams to win and we found the best value at this sportsbook.

Goff is a Leader

Quarterback Jared Goff is considered to be the one weak link on this team by many doubters. Not anymore. Goff was forced into action against Seattle just 10 days after surgery. Goff gutted his way through the pain and delivered a victory. His thumb is only going to get better and this team believes in him.

Count on Cam

Rookie running back Cam Akers is a force. He benefits from the return of Andrew Whitworth who is the superstar of this offensive line. Akers set a Rams rushing record with 131 yards and his 142 first-half scrimmage yards were the most by a player in his playoff debut during the Super Bowl era. The Packers are the favorite to win the NFC, but they rank 21st against the run. The Seahawks defense ranked fifth in rushing defense and you see what happened to that team.

Doing It With Defense

The Rams have the best defense in the NFL. Aaron Donald left the game with a rib injury, but that didn’t stop the defensive front. His injury is concerning, but it does not single-handedly power this defense. They have other great pass rushers and they have one of the best cover corners in the game in Jalen Ramsey. This is just the start of great players on this defense that includes linebacker Leonard Floyd and corner Darious Williams who scored a touchdown against the Seahawks. This defense is the best in the league and can shut down any offense left in the playoffs.

The LA Rams continue to be overlooked and that is a mistake. This team can win the NFC. [BET NOW]

NFL Playoffs Picks Against the Spread for Every game Jan 10

NFL Playoffs Picks Against the Spread for Every game Jan 10

The NFL playoffs are underway and the first day of action was worth the wait. Now as we head into Sunday and the second day of Wildcard action there is another NFL tripleheader to watch and wager on.  At this time of the season, every game is important and it is not always easy to make NFL Playoffs Picks against the spread for every game.

Ravens vs Titans

The first game of the fay may just be the best one. The Baltimore Ravens and the Tennessee Titans are two of the hardest hitting teams in the league. The best part is that they do not like one another and that will lead to a physical game. This game has already been covered on our site with in-depth analysis. Read the preview, get the free pick, and see who wins by clicking here.

Bears vs Saints

The Bears have had an up and down season. They have changed quarterbacks but heading into the playoffs they are playing the best football of the season. With an always imposing defense and an offense that is finally putting up points, the Bears provide a challenge for the Saints.

The Saints are always a good team and this year is no exception. Drew Brees is playing in what may be his final season. The offense is finally healthy and Michael Thomas has been held out for the final few regular-season games to make sure he is ready for the game against the Bears. The problem is the Saints are being asked to cover double-digits although some sportsbooks have this line down to as low as Saints -9.

That may seem like a lot of points, but the Bears do not have one of their best defenders in the lineup, and that is a problem.

The Bears backed into this playoff game with a loss to the Packers. That game showed that the Bears cannot beat elite teams in the NFL. The Bears are 6-18 ATS in their last 24 games following a double-digit loss at home and the Saints are one of the best teams covering the spread down the stretch.

The Saints have covered the spread in 7 of the last 9 games and they do it again in the playoffs.

Saints -9 [BET NOW]

Browns vs Steelers

The NFL playoffs best bet point to a winning bet on the over/under in this game, but the side is worth a look as well. It is always interesting to watch two teams who have to play in back-to-back games. In the last game, the Steelers rested all of their best players and had nothing to play for. Yet, they almost pulled off the upset. Now with all of their players back in the lineup, it’s easy to assume that the Steelers will win.

To make matters worse for the Browns, they had to practice virtually this week as they were dealing with COVID restrictions. But it should be noted that the Steelers are just 1-4 in the last five games. You can remove the game against the Browns, but they are not playing well.

The Browns offense is averaging 350 yards over the last three games and Baker Mayfield is gaining confidence. The Browns also have a run offense that is ranked third in the league with 148 yards per game.

The Steelers are overconfident coming into this game and the Browns are going to shock the world!

2021 NFL Playoffs Predictions: The Bills Will Lose to the Colts

2021 NFL Playoffs Predictions: The Bills Will Lose to the Colts

The NFL playoffs are about to begin! The best part of the playoffs is predicting what will happen and betting on the results. Everyone looks at the odds, fills out brackets, and makes best bets for the postseason. But only the sharp handicappers can uncover the best bets and the upsets in the first round and we have found one. Our boldest of the 2021 NFL Playoffs Predictions is that the Bills will lose to the Colts.

[BET On Colts vs Bills HERE]

Betting Against the Bills

Betting against the Buffalo Bills is not a good idea. They are one of the hottest teams in the National Football League and they are on a hot streak. QB Josh Allen jumped into the MVP conversation and Stephon Diggs is arguably the best receiver in football. They have won six straight games and all of the wins have been by ten points or more. So why bet against the Bills? The Colts play better against teams with a winning record and are 15-7 against the spread (ATS) in that role. But there is more.

Count on the Colts

Outside of the opening loss to the Jaguars, the Colts have only lost to playoff teams. They have a credible head coach and an experienced quarterback in Phillip Rivers. The public is pounding Buffalo is the most popular play on Saturday. (Yes more popular than Tom Brady) Finally, the Colts defense is better than the teams that the Bills have faced down the stretch. The Bills faced a banged-up Steelers defense and a wounded 49ers defense. This will be the best unit that they have faced all season. The Colts play well on the road with a 4-1 ATS record in the last five home games.

The Game plan

Allen is the key to the Bill’s offensive game plan. He has been responsible for 76% of their offense and the Colts can get after him by shutting down the run. The Colts will use bracket coverage which is essentially a design that puts two defenders on one receiver. That will keep Diggs in check.

2021 NFL Playoffs Predictions

The Colts have the experience of playing in the postseason. This line is incredibly inflated. It should be 3.5, but it opened up at 7 and now it has dropped to 6.5. The public is on the Bills, but the spread is dropping which is a clear indication that the smart money is on Indianapolis. That is all I need to know that the Colts will cover and win on Saturday.

Free Pick: Colts +6.5 and the money line

2021 NFL Playoffs Picks: Washington vs Tampa Bay Predictions

The NFL playoffs feature the best teams in the league. The bracket is loaded and the odds are out. Although some teams have had better seasons than others, anything can happen in the playoffs. That is especially true during Wildcard weekend. The playoff bets need to be made carefully with the recent restrictions due to COVID. Coaching Matters

There is no disputing that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are better than the Washington Football team. The same can be said for the quarterback position since it is obvious that Tom Brady is better than Alex Smith. However, the coaching comparison is not as easy to decide. Ron Riveria has turned around the Washington franchise in just one year, bringing back pride to the forgotten franchise. As a head coach Bruce Arians is successful in the NFL, although he has a different approach. The overall edge belongs to Riveria, but Arians has the X-factor and that is Tom Brady.

This has not stopped people from betting on Washington. Not only in this game but to win more games in the playoffs.

On the Cold Road

The Buccaneers have to play at Washington in this game and the weather is expected to be cold. Brady is used to the cold, but it’s not winning that matters, it’s covering the spread.  The key to picking a winner in this game is looking at the betting total. The under in outdoor playoff games is 81-60-4 and that points to a low scoring game. If this game does not produce too many points, betting on an underdog getting ten points is pretty tempting.

Alex Smith is not playing, but that does not mean that Washington is not worthy of a bet.

Washington vs Tampa Bay Predictions

The strength for Washington is upfront on defense. Football Outsiders ranks Washington No. 2 in the NFL in both pass defense and overall defense entering the last week of the season. Brady is a master of getting rid of the ball quickly, but the deep concepts pushed by Arians may provide a problem. Alex Smith is the answer at quarterback and if Washington wants to win they have to get off to a quick start. The Buccaneers have been outscored 100-88 in the first quarter in games this season.

Most of the betting trends in this game are irrelevant because it was before Brady or before Riveria taking over in Washington, but there is one that stands out. The Football Team are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games as an underdog, which means they love playing the underdog role. This is a sign of how hard this team will play for Riverboat Ron and Washington has a legitimate chance for an upset.

2021 NFL Playoffs Picks: Ravens vs Titans Predictions

2021 NFL Playoffs Picks: Ravens vs Titans Predictions

The NFL playoffs feature the best teams in the league. The bracket is loaded and the odds are out. Although some teams have had better seasons than others, anything can happen in the playoffs. That is especially true during Wildcard weekend. The playoff bets need to be made carefully with the recent restrictions due to COVID. Before considering the best bets for the weekend, read the latest news and information and the Ravens vs Titans predictions.

Can the Ravens Stop Derrick Henry?

Although many will suggest that Washington vs Tampa Bay is the best game of the week, this game will be close. Unless the Ravens cannot stop the run. If any team is going to beat the Titans it all starts with Derrick Henry. The bruising back amassed over 2,000 yards this season and is nearly impossible to take down. Ravens coach Jim Harbaugh’s focus for this week is on tackling. This makes sense considering that Derrick Henry has 217 rushing yards after contact in his past two games against the Ravens. The Ravens are not alone as every team in the NFL has trouble tackling Henry. Last year in the playoffs, Henry gobbled up 195 yards on 30 carries against the Ravens, which included 127 yards after the first contact.

The Money Down

The Ravens are favored in this game, although they are on the road. That is an interesting tidbit considering how well that Tennessee has played this season. In order to win the big games you have to succeed on the money down, aka, third down and that is where the Ravens excel. The Ravens finished the season with a third-down conversion rate of nearly 50% which is good enough to rank 4th in the NFL. Over the last four regular-season games, that number rose to 64%. Although the Ravens played some easier teams to end the season, when it comes to the money down, they are money.

Ravens vs Titans Predictions

NFL Playoffs predictions 2021This will be one of the best games of the playoffs. Although others have made the Ravens the best bet in this game, I am going to side with the Titans. The Titan’s defense is a weakness, but they do play well in the red zone and that is where the Ravens have issues. In the last two outings against the Titans, the Ravens are just 2 of 8 in the red zone. You can’t win a playoff game settling for field goals. The Ravens are 3-7-1 ATS in their last 11 meetings. and the Titans are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 Wildcard games.

NFL playoff predictions 2021

Best Bet #1

Washington Football Team +9 [BET HERE]

The Washington Football team is overlooked. It is understandable that Tom Brady and the Buccaneers are getting all of the attention, but don’t sleep on Washington. They have one of the best defensive fronts in football and a quality Head Coach in Ron Rivera.

Washington excels at applying pressure, but Brady is very good at getting rid of the ball quickly, but this defense front is good at multiple things.

They bat down balls and they get pressure when only rushing four players. Montez Sweat and Chase Young wreak havoc on the front line and this will be a game-changer. The Buccaneers have 11 touchdown passes of 20 or more yards in the last five outings, a number that will shrink in this game.

Alex Smith is not playing, but this bet is made on the defense.

Washington is 4-1 against the spread (ATS) in the last five games as an underdog and 5-2 ATS in the last 7 games overall. Many people believe Washington will cover and for good reason. They may not beat Brady and the Bucs, but they will keep it close.

Washington Football Team +9

Best Bet #2

Ravens -3.5 [BET HERE]

The Ravens and the Titans game may be the best one to watch in the first weekend. It has everything in a game that a fan could ask for. This game has superstars in Derrick Henry and Lamar Jackson, good coaching, and hard-hitting defenses with plenty of storylines. Many believe the Titans will win this game but guess again.

John Harbaugh knows how to win (and cover the spread) in the playoffs. The Ravens have covered 7 of the last 9 playoff games and are 8-3 ATS in the last 11 games played in January. He will exploit a Titans defense that has given up 70 points in the last two weeks. They rank No. 19 in defense against the run, allowing 120.8 yards per game, and No. 29 in passing defense, allowing 277.4 yards.

The Ravens get revenge after a playoff loss a year ago and take down the Titans.

Ravens -3

Best Bet #3

Browns vs Steelers OVER 47.5 [BET HERE]

The Browns COVID outbreak continues this week and that is concerning. The Browns finally return to the playoffs and they want to have a full complement of players.

Without a coach and prepping virtually will make things difficult for Cleveland. The Steelers have a big-play offense that is pass-happy and that means they are going to put up some points. They are especially good at scoring in the playoffs where there OVER has cashed in 18 of the last 25 playoff games. If Mason Rudolph can throw for over 300 yards against the Browns, imagine what Ben Roethlisberger will do this weekend.

NFL Playoffs predictions 2021

The Brown’s focus is the running game, but they will have to adjust if they are down early. The Browns OVER are 4-1 in the last five divisional games because the games are always tense. This leads to penalties and turnovers, two things that are very good for the over. The best bet in this game is to bet on the total.

OVER 47.5

2021 NFL Playoffs Odds, Schedule, and Matchups

The NFL playoffs are set. The best teams in the National Football League will face off this weekend to kick things off. All of the teams have one goal, to win a Super Bowl. If you plan to bet on these games you have one goal, to win. It’s time to look over the bracket, investigate the 2021 NFL Playoffs odds, and study the schedule. Before we get to the Best Bets, we have to look at the odds.

2021 NFL Playoffs Odds and Schedule

Home field advantage may not be as significant with the current COVID-19 restrictions. When teams were allowed to have full capacity, it did not always equate to winning in the early rounds. Since 2017, home teams are just 1-11 ATS during the opening round of the playoffs. This includes a 4-8 straight-up record in those games.

Wild-Card Round

Saturday, January 9

1:05 p.m. — (7) Indianapolis Colts at (2) Buffalo Bills (CBS) [BET NOW]

Spread: Bills -7

Over/Under: 52

The Buffalo Bills are one of the hottest teams entering the playoffs. The Colts needed help to get into the postseason and barely survived against the Jaguars. That is why the Bills are one of the most popular first-round bets. Over 72 percent of the bets are on Buffalo to win and cover against the Colts.

4:40 p.m. — (6) Los Angeles Rams at (3) Seattle Seahawks (Fox) [BET NOW]

Spread: Seahawks -4.5

Over/Under: 42.5

The LA Rams were able to win their way into the playoffs without the services of starting QB Jared Goff. That will be more of a concern this weekend when they head to Seattle to battle the Seahawks. Although the QB situation is unknown, the public slightly favors the Rams in this matchup.

8:15 p.m. — (5) Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Washington Football Team (NBC) [BET NOW]

Spread: Buccaneers -9

Over/Under: 46

Tom Brady returns to the playoffs with a new team and in a different conference. Brady’s first opponent is the Washington Football Team. Despite needed a win in the last game of the regular season; this team still has a ferocious defense. The leader of that defense is looking forward to meeting Brady.

Sunday, January 10

1:05 p.m. — (5) Baltimore Ravens at (4) Tennessee Titans (ABC, ESPN) [BET NOW]

Spread: Ravens -3.5

Over/Under: 54.5

The Ravens are on the road and they are the higher seed, but they are the favorites going into this game. QB Lamar Jackson is leading this team in a positive direction and many believe that they can go to the Super Bowl. It won’t be easy as they will have to slow down RB Derrick Henry if they want to win this game.

4:40 p.m. — (7) Chicago Bears at (2) New Orlean Saints (CBS/Nickelodeon/Amazon Prime) [BET NOW]

Spread: Saints -9.5

Over/Under: 48

The Bears lost on Sunday, but they still managed to get into the playoffs. Unfortunately, they were given the 7 seed and a date with the Saints in the Big Easy. The Bear’s offense has been inconsistent all season long. Now they face one of the toughest defenses in football. This spread has moved since it’s opening. The Saints opened at -9.5 and are now -10.5 at sportsbooks.

8:15 p.m. — (6) Cleveland Browns at (3) Pittsburgh Steelers (NBC) [BET NOW]

Spread: Steelers -4

Over/Under: 46.5

The Browns beat the Steelers without most of their star players to get into the playoffs. That win allowed the Browns to make the postseason for the first time since 2002. In this matchup, they will face a full complement of Steelers. The Browns have not won a game at Heinz Field since 2003. They are 0-17 straight-up and 5-11-1 ATS in that time span. Over 65 percent of the early wagering is on Pittsburgh.

Breaking down the NFL playoff bracket 2021

Breaking down the NFL playoff bracket 2021

Who’s In?

AFC Playoff Picture

In the AFC it is the usual suspects with a few exceptions. The New England Patriots missed out for the first time in forever and the Buffalo Bills crashed the AFC playoff picture.

1. Kansas City Chiefs (bye)

2. Buffalo Bills vs. 7. Indianapolis Colts

3. Pittsburgh Steelers vs. 6. Cleveland Browns

4. Tennessee Titans vs. 5. Baltimore Ravens

The Chiefs will get the bye week with the No. 1 seed and will have home-field advantage throughout. The Dolphins were demolished in Buffalo and became the odd team out in the AFC.

NFC Playoff Picture

In the NFC it came down to the final game of the night as the NFC East was the last division to crown a winner. The Bears backed into the playoffs off a loss and Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers secured the No. 5 seed.

1. Green Bay Packers (bye)

2. New Orleans Saints vs. 7. Chicago Bears

3. Seattle Seahawks vs. 6. Los Angeles Rams

4. Washington Football Team vs. 5. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Packers will get the bye week with the No. 1 seed and will have home-field advantage throughout. Unfortunately, the Arizona Cardinals did not make the postseason and became the last team out in the NFC.

West Virginia vs Oklahoma State

The Mountaineers are one of the top teams in the country and are fresh off an upset loss to Oklahoma. West Virginia gave it their all by coming back from an 18-point deficit, but they were not able to get the win. This is the first game that they played without two players. The Mountaineers lost two forwards in freshman Isaiah Cottrell and sophomore Oscar Tshiebwe. Without those two big players, they had to make adjustments all throughout this game. This is a tough blow for a team that ranks in the top 50 in offensive rebounds. They were outrebounded by the Sooners 41-36. Now they stay in Oklahoma to take on the Oklahoma State Cowboys on Monday night on ESPN 2.

The good news for West Virginia is that Oklahoma State is off an upset that went to overtime and they will have to regroup for this contest. But the Cowboys have the edge playing at home against a Mountaineers team that is 2-5 ATS in the last seven games. Oklahoma State has attempted the second-most free throws among all Big 12 teams, averaging 22.7 free throws per game this season. Oklahoma State’s trio of Cade Cunningham, Isaac Likekele, and Matthew-Alexander Moncrieffe is hard to stop.

The Mountaineers are still figuring out the inside defensive rotation and the Cowboys will win this game on the free-throw line.
