Looking for Lamar

Until recently it was unclear if the Ravens would have reigning NFL MVP Lamar Jackson under center. Backup Robert Griffin III was placed on injured reserve and the only available QB was third-stringer, Trace McSorley. Ravens fans were relieved to hear that Jackson will be ready for Tuesday night and the game against the Cowboys.

Doubting Dallas

Ever since the Cowboys lost QB Dak Prescott to a season-ending injury they have struggled on offense. Dallas owns the 4th worst mark in the NFL when it comes to scoring in the red zone. They have managed to put up points in only 50% of the trips inside the red zone. That task expects to get harder on Tuesday against a Baltimore hard-hitting defense. The Cowboy’s defense will be hard-pressed to slow down the Ravens since the Cowboys are the only team in the league to allow more than 30 points per game.

Cowboys vs Ravens predictions

There is no need to make this any harder than it has to be. The Ravens will dominate the line of scrimmage and establish the run. This will allow the team to put up points and to control the time of possession. The Cowboys have only covered the spread once in the last seven road games and they will not be able to keep up. You have to know that Dez Bryant is ready to show his old team that he can still play by scoring touchdown.

The Ravens play better as the year goes on (5-0 ATS in December) and they get a convincing win to stay in the playoff hunt.

Free Pick: Ravens -8
