NFL Picks Week 9
This week we once again look at divisional games and focus on one underdog that no one will see coming in perhaps the biggest game of the year.
The Atlanta Falcons Will Win
The Atlanta Falcons were distracted last week when Calvin Ridley left the team suddenly. Matt Ryan had his worst game of the season and the Falcons fell flat. After getting beat by the Carolina Panthers at home, the public is staying far away from this team. The Saints beat the Buccaneers so that makes New Orleans a very popular pick this week.
The Saints bring back Taysom Hill this week but the team will start Trevor Siemian this week. This is an adjustment that will take some time. They don’t have that kind of time in a letdown game against a division rival. Atlanta rebounds well after a game. The Falcons are 25-12 ATS in their last 37 games after scoring less than 15 points in their previous game. This is a solid play on Atlanta.

The Carolina Panthers Will Win
In our weekly article about survivor picks, we warned you about trusting the New England Patriots. The Pats had a huge win against the Chargers but now play in the second road game in a row. The 3-8 ATS in their last 11 games as a favorite and 2-9-1 ATS in their last 12 games following a win against the spread.
The Panthers won outright as an underdog on the road and will get their best player back this week in running back Christian McCaffrey. The Panthers are a perfect 3-0 ATS with him in the lineup and he is a game-changer.
The underrated Panthers’ defense can keep this close and don’t be surprised if they win this game outright.
