2022 NFL Divisional Playoff Pick and Predictions for Bengals vs Titans
With other games like Bills vs Chiefs and 49ers vs Packers getting all the hype, don’t forget about the other games. Notably, the upstart Cincinnati Bengals against the No. 1 seeded Tennessee Titans. Although the Titans have had the better year, the Bengals have an explosive offense that is ready to take down the top seed.
What About Henry?
All eyes are on Titans running back Derrick Henry and his return to the gridiron after an injury that seemed like it would sideline him for the rest of the season. Henry passed his first test by participating in his first contact practice, but his status is not for certain.

The Titans will wait until Saturday to announce his status, but Henry has said that he expects to play. That’s all I need to hear. If Henry wants to play, he will play. And he looks like he got his wish, because Henry is activated and will play!
Odds and Trends
The Bengals are a popular underdog and that is not always a bad thing. According to the betting numbers, 53 percent of the tickets are on the Bengals, but 61 percent of the money is on the Titans. The Bengals have struggled in playoff games with a 1-6-1 against the spread (ATS) record, but that was before QB Joe Burrow came to Cincy. The Titans have stumbled in the postseason as well with a 0-4-1 ATS record in the last five playoff home games.
Bengals are Booming
Win or lose the Bengals are just fun to watch. Burrow leads a powerful offense loaded with weapons like Joe Mixon and Jamar Chase. However, the offensive line will have to work to hold off the Titans pass rush that ranks 13th in the league in sack percentage. This Bengals offense does blow up the stat sheet. They are tied for seventh in scoring and have big-play potential on every snap. The defense does not disappoint either as they have forced 21 turnovers.
2022 NFL Divisional Playoff Pick
The Titans are flying under the radar and the Bengals are getting all of the love. However, Bengals head Coach Zac Taylor and Burrow don’t have the experience. The Titans have the home-field advantage, experience, and better defense. The Titans are 6-2 ATS in the last 8 home games and advance with a big win over the Bengals.
