Denver Broncos vs Dallas Cowboys

Dak is back and that is very good news for the Dallas Cowboys. They played well without him a week ago, but it is clear he is needed. The people who like to bet on football were excited about the news as well. Over 80 percent of the wagers for this game are on Dallas and that is not surprising considering that they are the only team to cover every game this season (7-0 ATS).

The Broncos do have Teddy Bridgewater and he loves the underdog role. Bridgewater is 18-3 ATS as a road underdog and 7-1 ATS when he is an underdog of more than a touchdown. Von Miller may be gone, but the Broncos are prepared for life after Von. This inflated point-spread is because Dak is back and Von is gone. Dallas is better, but this is just too many points to give.

Green Bay Packers vs Kansas City Chiefs

The Aaron Rodgers story is a nightmare for Green Bay. Once it was announced that Rodgers was out and that Jordan Love is starting, the point spread shifted. Currently, the packers are now +7.5 underdogs against a Chiefs team that is on a short week and struggling to win football games.  The public instinct is to bet against the Packers without Rodgers, but the value is on the Packers.

The Chiefs are not a good team right now. They are inconsistent on offense, have too many turnovers, and cannot stop anyone on defense. The Chiefs are last in the league and allow over 6 yards a play and rank 22nd against the rush. The Chiefs are just 4-15 ATS in the last 19 games and that makes it tough to back Mahomes as a big favorite. This will allow the Packers to use Aaron Jones to help Love find open receivers with play action. Love has a full week of practice so watch for RPO’s that will lead to big plays and big points. Packers head coach Matt LaFleur is better than you think at preparing for a game and he is 7-2 ATS as an underdog.

The overreaction to the Packers without Rodgers is just too much. The Packers are 4-0 ATS in the last four road games and they are the best bet in this game. If you think the distractions were big last week, wait until you see what happens when Love plays well against the Chiefs.

Packers +7.5

Tennessee Titans vs LA Rams

The Titans are considered a contender and this Super Bowl rematch is one of the biggest games of the week. Yet, it lost some luster when it was announced that Titans running back Derrick Henry was out for the season. The line adjusted as everyone assumes that the Rams will run away with this game.

The Titans bring in Adrian Peterson to try and fill the void, but it just won’t be enough. Von Miller has one job, to get the quarterback. Without a strong running game, Miller will get multiple sacks in his debut after being reenergized with a change of location. The Rams are locked in against an emotionally drained team off a big win against the Colts and dealing with the loss of Henry. The Rams have covered 7 out of the last ten games against teams with a winning record.

This is a blowout game and the Rams will send a signal to the rest of the league that they are the Super Bowl favorites.

Rams -7
