Big Ben Watch

The Steelers are undefeated and at home for this game, so it comes as no surprise that they are favorites.  The public is betting Pittsburgh at a 54% clip, but that is minimal due to the possible injury of Ben Roethlisberger. The spread is currently sitting steady at seven points leading up to game time. That may change closer to kick-off as it is announced that Ben will play as some 6.5 spreads are popping up now.

Well-rested Washington

The Steelers have had to deal with a scheduling nightmare of late and that has given Washington extra-rest coming into this game. This is the first time since 1968 that a team on four or fewer days rest will play a team on at least 10 days. This gives an edge to Washington in this game. Pittsburgh has an incredible defense, but so does Washington. Washington’s defense is fourth in the NFL in total yards allowed; this includes being second in passing and 15th against the run. This gives Washington a real chance to keep this game close.

Washington vs Steelers Picks

Pittsburgh can beat this Washington defense, but they have to do something that they have not been able to do all year. Throw the ball deep. Steelers receivers average an NFL-low 10.23 yards per catch and that will have to change against a defense that has allowed an NFL-worst six catches of 50-plus yards. Washington can run the ball against a Steelers defense that gives up 4.4 yards per carry and will be short-handed at the linebacker position. The Steelers are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games in December and the Washington Football Team is 6-2 ATS in their last 8 games following a straight-up win. Pittsburgh is officially on upset alert.

Free Pick: Washington +7

Vikings vs Bears Picks

Monday Night Football Predictions: Vikings vs Bears Picks

Monday night football is a special stage for teams each and every week. They look forward to the primetime spotlight and always give their best effort. These primetime games get more intense when it is a divisional rivalry. That is exactly what we have on this Monday when the Chicago Bears host the Minnesota Vikings. We have looked at the odds and posted free winners for every game, but this one is going to be special.

Let Dalvin Cook

The Vikings have been winning games on the incredible performances put up in the last few weeks by running back Dalvin Cook. They have won two straight games, ad the Bears are reeling, losers of three straight games. This is why the public is putting money on the road favorite in this game. The Vikings started out as underdogs, but now according to sports betting outlets, they are field-goal favorites. This is interesting considering how the Vikings have fared against Chicago in recent meetings. The Vikings lost four straight games to the Bears and are 1-5 ATS in the past six meetings between these two teams.

New Look Offense

The Bears have had some issues on offense. It will not get any easier this week as they take the field without starting running back David Montgomery. However, it is refreshing to see that Matt Nagy has handed over the play-calling duties. Bill Lazor is now the man calling the shots for this Bears offense. The change is needed. This is an offense ranking 29th in total yardage (317.8 ypg), last in rushing (82.3 ypg) and 31st in yards per play (4.81).

Home Sweet Home

Home field advantage has not mattered in the NFL this season. Without a screaming fan base to support the home team, the results have been mediocre. However, in this series, home field matters. The home team is 25-10 ATS in this series and the Vikings are just 3-14 ATS in the last 17 meetings in the Windy City.

Vikings vs Bears Picks

Bill Lazor is bringing a change to this offense and that is what this team needed. It helps that they are facing a laughable Vikings secondary that has yet to slow down anyone. The Bear’s defense is strong enough to bottle up Cook and put all the pressure on Kirk Cousins to get the job done. The Bears are 10-4 ATS in their last 14 games against the NFC North. They get back on track and beat the Vikings as vicious home dogs on Monday night.

Pick: Bears +3

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers knew they were going to have a good season when they signed Tom Brady to play quarterback. Up to this point in the season, things have gone as planned and the Bucs look like they are the favorites to win the Super Bowl. The exact opposite is happening to the New York Giants.

Big Really Blue

The Giants lost their best player to injury and they have had trouble winning football games ever since. They may be home on Monday night football, but winning does not come easy for this team. If they want to beat the Bucs they will need a boost from the offense.

Without Barkley, Daniel Jones has been under pressure on nearly every snap. He has failed to throw for more than 200 yards in four of the last five games and he is good for at least one fumble in every game. He did, however, complete a season 66 percent of his passes last week against the Eagles.  If the Giants can establish the run it will help immensely, but I would not count on it. The Tampa Bay defense is incredible. They have allowed less than 700 yards combined rushing and receiving to opposing running backs and they allow just over 14 points per game.

More Motivation For Tampa

Tom Brady is making an incredible impact on this team. They now believe that they are winners and he played a vital role in bringing Antonio Brown to this team. The Buccaneers now have some of the best offensive weapons in the game. They are 13 point favorites on the road in this game and over 60 percent of the public is backing Brady to cover double-digits.

As if the Buccaneers needed any more incentive to win on Monday night, they just got a little more motivation.

Buccaneers vs Giants Picks

Betting with the public and betting on a favorite does not often yield positive profits. However, there is no reason to bet on Big Blue on Monday night. The Giants have covered four of the last five as an underdog, but there is nothing else to get excited about. The Giants are 3-13 ATS in their last 16 games as a home underdog and 6-20-1 ATS in the last 27 games at home.

The only thing that is left to do is to get the lowest spread possible on Brady and the Buccaneers to win on Monday night.

Bet on the Buccaneers -11

The Monday night football game featuring the LA Rams against the Chicago Bears is a true test for each team. The Rams are contenders, but despite winning, the Bears are still considered by many to be pretenders in the National Football League. The betting odds show that the respect level for the Bears may be changing.

Bettors Relying on the Rams

No one outside of Chicago believes in the Bears. Over 75% of experts are picking the Rams to win this game straight up. The sports betting public is also on LA as over 55% of betting is on the home team. Interestingly enough, the point-spread in this game has dropped. The Rams were once 7-point favorites and now they are 6-point chalk as we get closer to the Monday night kickoff. Favorites have not fared well in recent primetime games.

Bears vs Rams Picks

The Rams have a great record mainly due to a schedule against the NFC East, perhaps the weakest division in NFL history. Defenses will be on display on Monday. Both the Bears and Rams rank in the top seven defensively, allowing 19.3 and 19.0 points per game.  Rams QB Jared Goff is not a big fan of playing the Bears considering that he has never thrown a touchdown against Chicago and he has five interceptions. There is only one team to bet in this game.

Bet on the Bears +6

The Rams are 2-7-1 ATS in their last 10 Monday games and the Bears are 7-3 ATS in their last 10 meetings. Finally, the Bears are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games as an underdog and will get the outright win on Monday night. Nick Foles and the Bears will use this primetime game to make the rest of the league believers.

Monday Night Football predictions Chiefs vs Ravens pick against the spread

Monday Night Football predictions: Chiefs vs Ravens pick against the spread

This Monday night is the biggest NFL game of the year. The two best teams in football go head-to-head as the Baltimore Ravens host the defending champion Kansas City Chiefs. The Thursday night game and predictions on the other games on the week 3 schedule are important, but it doesn’t get any better than this. There is no reason to wait, it’s time to predict the Chiefs vs Ravens pick against the spread for this week’s edition of Monday Night Football.

Game Info

  • Game Day: Monday, September 28, 2020
  • Game Time: 8:15 PM ET
  • TV Channel: ESPN
  • Location: Baltimore, MD
  • Stadium: M&T Bank Stadium
  • MNF Odds: Ravens -3

Big Money Moves

The wise guys jumped out early on this game. They know that this will be one of the most popular games of the year and according to sportsbooks, it may well be the most bet game of the year. The Ravens opened up as -2.5 favorites and the line has since jumped and now the Ravens are -3 at the best sportsbook to bet the NFL. This move will normally suggest that the public is betting on Baltimore. That is not the case. Over 55 percent of the wagers are on the Chiefs. Then why did the point-spread move? The move is because bigger amounts of money are coming in on Baltimore. This is often considered to be “sharp” money.

Cashing in on the Chiefs

The Chiefs needed a field goal (actually 3 attempts) in overtime to beat the Chargers. That win was a huge loss for the bookmakers. The sportsbooks would have been in big trouble if the Raiders did not rescue them on Monday Night Football. Now a week later, the Chiefs will be the star of the show again. Kansas City was tested against the Chargers. Teams that are off a close win of 3 points or less and play the Ravens are 0-6-1 (ATS) against the spread. A weary KC team will not have the energy to play a full four quarters against the Ravens. The Chargers may have revealed a flaw in the Chiefs that the Ravens will look to expose.

Reliable Ravens

The Ravens made headlines again for another win over the Houston Texans. It was quiet and effective, just like the make-up of this team. The Ravens offensive line is one of the best in the business. They open up huge holes in the running game and they do not allow the defense to make big hits behind the line of scrimmage.

Match up to watch

The Ravens have a very good defense with a smothering secondary that will be tested this week. The Chargers put pressure on Patrick Mahomes and confused him by mixing coverages. This is not something that you see every day from the best signal-caller in the league. All-Pro right tackle Mitchell Schwartz allowed seven pressures, which is the most allowed since 2013. With the mix of schemes and pressure, the Chiefs have to be ready on offense.

Chiefs vs Ravens pick against the spread

This is going to be a wakeup call for Kansas City. The Chief’s defense is unbeatable and the Ravens can move the ball on the ground, which opens up passing lanes. The Ravens defense is underrated with all of the attention on Lamar Jackson. The Ravens have forced a turnover in 15 straight games and they have scored 7 defensive touchdowns in the last 12 games. The Ravens have led at halftime in 11 straight games, a trend that will continue on Monday night. Baltimore has not lost a regular-season game in 357 days and they are 10-2 ATS in the last 12 games following a win. A blowout of the Chiefs will add to this remarkable resume and prove that the Ravens are the best team in football.

Bet on Baltimore.

Prediction: Chiefs 20 Ravens 38

Baltimore Ravens -3
