This game features two of the best stories of 2020. These two teams emerged out of mediocrity to be credible football programs. Coastal Carolina is getting all of the attention, especially after the win against BYU, but Liberty is a very good squad. Former Auburn QB Malik Willis leads an offense that can score on every possession. The Flames have a rushing attack that puts up over 250 yards a game behind an impressive offensive line.
Like the Ragin Cajuns (see below) the Chanticleers were supposed to play in the Sun Belt Championship game, which was canceled. They are still motivated because they can have the first undefeated season in school history, but there is every reason to believe that they are looking past the Flames.
The Flames are a perfect 7-0 ATS in the last seven games and they have defeated ACC teams. Liberty makes a statement with a win in this game.

Louisiana vs UTSA Picks
The best part of watching and wagering on bowl games I that you get to learn about teams that you may never have watched before. The Ragin Cajuns deserve some respect. They beat Iowa State, the only loss of the season was a 3-point loss to Coastal Carolina and they have won six straight games. But they have no motivation to play in this game. The Ragin’ Cajuns are 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games following a straight-up win.
UTSA relies on a heavy running game powered by Sincere McCormick who rushed the ball for over 1300 yards this season. That solid rushing attack will allow the Roadrunners to keep this game close and the uninspired Ragin Cajuns are on upset alert.

Western Kentucky vs Georgia State Picks
A bowl game that features two teams that have won just five games, may not be exciting, but this game will be the best of the day. Both teams come into this game playing well. The Georgia State Panthers have won three of its last four and the Hilltoppers have won three straight games.
Western Kentucky has the edge in this game. They have seven bowl appearances since 2012 and they are only one of 10 FBS teams to play 11 or more games this season. They have the defensive player of the year in DE DeAngelo Malone who will make things difficult for Panthers Redshirt freshman QB Cornelious Brown. Brown has had an incredible season but he faces the nation’s best pass defense in a WKU unit that allows 170 passing yards per game.
The Panthers have not played in over a month and that rust will lead to mistakes. The Hilltoppers are 7-3-1 ATS against a team with a winning record and 39-19 ATS in the last 589 games as an underdog. The wrong team is favored and Western Kentucky will win.
