The Tampa Bay Buccaneers knew they were going to have a good season when they signed Tom Brady to play quarterback. Up to this point in the season, things have gone as planned and the Bucs look like they are the favorites to win the Super Bowl. The exact opposite is happening to the New York Giants.

Big Really Blue

The Giants lost their best player to injury and they have had trouble winning football games ever since. They may be home on Monday night football, but winning does not come easy for this team. If they want to beat the Bucs they will need a boost from the offense.

Without Barkley, Daniel Jones has been under pressure on nearly every snap. He has failed to throw for more than 200 yards in four of the last five games and he is good for at least one fumble in every game. He did, however, complete a season 66 percent of his passes last week against the Eagles.  If the Giants can establish the run it will help immensely, but I would not count on it. The Tampa Bay defense is incredible. They have allowed less than 700 yards combined rushing and receiving to opposing running backs and they allow just over 14 points per game.

More Motivation For Tampa

Tom Brady is making an incredible impact on this team. They now believe that they are winners and he played a vital role in bringing Antonio Brown to this team. The Buccaneers now have some of the best offensive weapons in the game. They are 13 point favorites on the road in this game and over 60 percent of the public is backing Brady to cover double-digits.

As if the Buccaneers needed any more incentive to win on Monday night, they just got a little more motivation.

Buccaneers vs Giants Picks

Betting with the public and betting on a favorite does not often yield positive profits. However, there is no reason to bet on Big Blue on Monday night. The Giants have covered four of the last five as an underdog, but there is nothing else to get excited about. The Giants are 3-13 ATS in their last 16 games as a home underdog and 6-20-1 ATS in the last 27 games at home.

The only thing that is left to do is to get the lowest spread possible on Brady and the Buccaneers to win on Monday night.

Trevor Lawrence tests positive for COVID-19

Trevor Lawrence tests positive for COVID-19

This weekend there are some incredible games on the schedule, like Ohio State vs Penn State, but all of the headlines will be focused on Clemson football. The news broke late Thursday night that Clemson QB Trevor Lawrence tests positive for COVID-19. Here are the changes that you need to know leading up to kickoff.

Clemson will go up against Boston College this weekend and they will not have Lawerence in the lineup. This year Lawrence has once-again looked stellar, with 1,833 passing yards and 17 touchdowns to two interceptions. Lawrence posted a message on social media after the announcement went public.

Lawrence hopes to be cleared for the next game when the Tigers go up against No. 4 Notre Dame for a 7:30 p.m. kickoff next Saturday.

Next Man Up

With Lawrence out, the Tigers will turn to freshman DJ Uiagalelei who has completed 12-of-19 passes for 102 yards this season. He has also rushed for two touchdowns. He is a versatile option, but coach Dabo Swinney may have to simplify and change up his approach on offense. The game plan is not the only thing that changed when it was announced that Lawrence would miss the game against Boston College.

Odds On the Move

According to the best college football sportsbooks, Clemson opened up as a 32-point favorite, but that has changed. Clemson is currently as low as a 27-point favorite over Boston College and the public is betting on the underdog. Just 47 percent of the money coming in on this game is on Clemson after the news broke. Track the latest odds on this game and see if the needle continues to move against Clemson without their biggest star in the lineup.

Ohio State vs Penn State pick against the spread and predictions

Ohio State vs Penn State pick against the spread and predictions

One loss can ruin a season for a college football team. That is the case for the Penn State Nittany Lions who lost in an incredible upset in the first week of the season. The only thing that can make fans forget about a bad loss is a great win. They get that opportunity this week when they take on the top-ranked Ohio State Buckeyes. There is plenty to consider before making an Ohio State vs Penn State pick against the spread.

Giving up on Penn State

When Penn State lost to an unranked Indiana team, the world gave up on the Nittany Lions. That also applies to sports betting fans. Ohio State opened up as 9.5 point favorites and that line jumped due to public support. This is not a surprise as Ohio State is a popular team. The Buckeyes are a covering machine, as they have covered 13 of the last 18 games against the spread (ATS). The public bets flooded in on the Buckeyes and they currently are 13.5 point favorites and this number may eclipse two touchdowns before kickoff on Saturday night.

NFL Super contest: It’s not too late to join the $10,000 Super contest for weeks 8-1. Winner take all, join the contest today!

Finding Justin Fields

If Penn State has any chance of winning they have to stop quarterback Justin Fields. He connected on 20-of-21 passes in the win against Nebraska and he is the undisputed leader of this team. But he will have to play well because the Buckeyes are 0-4 ATS in the last four meetings in this series. Ohio State will need to provide more protection since they allowed 3 sacks against a weak Nebraska pass-rushing squad.

Keep an eye on Clifford

The Penn State running game has been decimated due to injury, but quarterback Sean Clifford helps out by running the rock. The Buckeye’s defensive front is one of the best in the country, but they did show some mobility issues against Nebraska. This will give Clifford an opportunity to find holes, as he did against Indiana when he amassed 119 rushing yards.

Ohio State vs Penn State pick against the spread

Penn State will not benefit from having a rowdy home crowd to support the home-field advantage. They do play well against winning teams. Penn State is 9-2 ATS in the last 11 home games against a team with a winning record. After laying an egg in the opener, Penn State needs an impressive effort to get back in the national spotlight.

The Buckeyes are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games following a straight-up win and the home team is 5-2 ATS in the last 7 meetings. Clifford will move the ball and the Penn State defense will get after Fields. This will make it tough for the Buckeyes to cover an inflated number.

Bet on Penn State +13.5

Our goal is to provide the best NFL betting previews for every game on the schedule. These betting previews will have the latest news, betting trends, live odds, and a free pick against the spread for every game. Next up is the Cowboys vs Eagles pick against the spread.

NFL Super contest: It’s not too late to join the $10,000 Super contest for weeks 8-1. Winner take all, join the contest today!

Battle in the NFC Least

There is no question that the worst division in the NFL this year is the NFC East. Every team is trying to overcome obstacles and dealing with injuries. Despite the fact that the division is so bad, it actually is competitive.

The current leader has only two wins, which makes every game important in the division race. Like it or not, the winner of NFC East will make the playoffs and that makes the game between the Dallas Cowboys and the Philadelphia Eagles, a crucial one.

The Cowboys are in big trouble. They are without starting QB Dak Prescott, and the backup Andy Dalton entered the concussion protocol and is uncertain for Week 8, which means they might be starting third-stringer Ben DiNucci. To make matters worse, the Cowboys have yet to cover the spread this season. They are 0-7 against the spread (ATS), which in itself is quite an accomplishment. With an uncertain offense and weak defense, no one is betting on Dallas this week.

Bettors Bailing

The Eagles have not had a tremendous season, but they are in first place. They are dealing with multiple injuries on offense, leaving QB Carson Wentz as the last-man-standing to try and provide points. Unfortunately, he has not provided profits. If you bet on Wentz in his last 35 starts you would have a record of 12-23 ATS.  That still did not stop the public from betting on Philly when the spread was finally released. Over 65 percent of the wagers are on the Eagles as 7.5 point favorites. But then the official announcement game down.

This caused the point spread to jump and on Sunday morning, the Eagles are now double-digit favorites over Dallas. This is the first time since 2010 that the Cowboys are underdogs of +11 or more.

Cowboys vs Eagles pick against the spread

When a team is at its lowest point, they often rally around one another. They take on an “us against the world” mentality. When a team has an ATS rate of less than 20 percent after 4 games in the season, they become profitable. Teams in that spot are 167-124-6. When the Cowboys do play well it’s in the division where they boast a 13-4 ATS in the last 17 divisional games.  They have covered 4 of the last five vs. the Eagles and six of the last eight in Philadelphia. It may be hard to trust the Cowboys, but it is crazier to give over a TD with an Eagles team that is 0-5 ATS in the last five as a home favorite and 2-6 ATS in the last eight games overall. This is the time to bet on the Cowboys to payout this week.

Bet on the Dallas Cowboys  +11

Colts vs Lions Pick Against the Spread

The Colts and the Lions are in the thick of things as far as the race for the playoffs is concerned. The Colts are off a big win where QB Phillip Rivers excelled, but that is not the norm for this team. They are powered by a run game and stout defense. They are small road favorites against the Lions, a spot they have not thrived in. The Colts are 1-4-1 against the spread (ATS) as road favorites.

Matthew Stafford and the Lions are finally getting the offense on track. D’Andre Swift is emerging as a superstar and with a healthy Kenny Golladay in uniform, this team is dangerous. The Lions are still riding a high after a last-minute win in Atlanta and that confidence will carry over to this game.

Bet on the Detroit Lions +2.5

Titans vs Bengals Pick Against the Spread

The Tennessee Titans come limping into this game after a hard-luck loss to the Steelers. They will look to get back in the win column against the pass-happy Cincinnati Bengals. The Bengals are powered by rookie QB Joe Burrow and his ability keeps the Bengals in football games. His performance allows the Bengals to cover up some obvious issues on the team, like the defense. The defense is allowing 27.7 points and 395.1 yards per game and will have the tough task of trying to stop running back Derrick Henry.

The Bengals are fun to watch, but they are not putting together complete games yet. They have lost seven of their last 10 home games and they are  3-8 ATS in their last 11 games as a home underdog. The road team is 7-3 ATS in the last ten meetings and all signs point to Tennessee. The Bengals are dangerous enough to get a back-door cover, but betting on the Titans is the only way to go.

Jets vs Chiefs Pick Against the Spread

The Chiefs are one of the best teams in the NFL and the Jets are the worst. So it is no surprise that the Chiefs are huge favorites this week in this game. This is not the first time that a team has been favored by 20 points or more and the ATS results may be surprising. The Jets do have QB Sam Darnold back in the lineup, but he is still having problems with simple reads for a QB with his experience.

The Chiefs are motivated to play well in this game and Le’Veon Bell will be looking forward to facing his former team. The Chiefs are 12-3-1 ATS in their last 16 games as a favorite and the Jets are 17-36-4 ATS in their last 57 games as a road underdog. It’s a lot of points to drop, but the Chiefs will want Bell to score early and often.

Chargers vs Broncos

The Broncos are a home divisional dog on Sunday against the Chargers. Most of the sportsbooks have the Broncos at 3 point underdogs, but there is one book that has Denver at +3.5 and we suggest to bet that now. The Broncos are good home underdogs and running back Melvin Gordon will be motivated to face his old team. The Chargers had several players and staff that had to be evacuated due to the California wildfires and this includes quarterback Justin Herbert. That distraction and the fact that the Chargers are 1-5-1 ATS in their last 7 games against the AFC West makes the Broncos the team to bet in this game.

Bet on the Broncos +3.5

Rams vs Dolphins

The storyline in this game will be all about a rookie quarterback getting his first start, however, there is more to know about this game. Rookie quarterback Tua Tagovailoa will make the first start of his career for the Miami Dolphins, but the Rams travel schedule is brutal.

Despite the tough schedule, the Rams are 2-1 on the East coast this year. Those games were against a weak NFC East, but the Rams are 6-1 since 2017 in 1 p.m. games in the Eastern Time Zone. This game, however, will be different. The Dolphins are looking for a winning streak and have covered four of the six games that they have played this year. The bye week comes at a perfect time to get this offense ready for a rookie debut.

All the talk is how the Rams will get after Tua, but the Dolphins defense is also impressive. The Rams and Dolphins both rank in the top 5 five points allowed, with Los Angeles (17.7 PPG) second and Miami (18.8 PPG) third. The Dolphins are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 home games and 8-3 ATS in their last 11 games after a game where they covered the spread. Tua wins his first game as a starter and steals all of the headlines on Monday morning.

Bet on the Dolphins +3.5 [BET NOW at MyBookie and get the best NFL Bonus and a Halloween Spooktacular special bonus!]

Vikings vs Packers

On the surface, this game is a mismatch as the Packers have had a much better season. Aaron Rodgers looks dominant once again and the Vikings defense is bad, very bad. But when you bet on a football game you have to look at much more. One of the things that you have to examine is the weather report. In this game, the passing game may be in trouble with 25 mph sustained winds and gusts up to 40 mph. The wind is the one thing that sportsbooks look at when they adjust the spreads and totals. The Vikings are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games following a double-digit loss at home and this game is closer than you think.

Bet on the Vikings +6

BET NOW using Cash App and get a 100% bonus up to 3 times!]

Saints vs Bears

The Saints are considered to be one of the best teams in football and the Bears are always underappreciated. That may change after this week. The Saints defense is beatable and the offense will once again be without key pieces.

They remain favorites in this game because of Drew Brees and the history of the Saints. But they have allowed 17 touchdown passes. Only the Atlanta Falcons, have allowed more touchdown passes (19). That is good news for the Bears and quarterback Nick Foles. The Bears are 12-4-1 ATS in their last 17 games as a home underdog and they are the best bet to make in this game.

Bet on the Bears +5

[BET NOW and get a $1000 boost to your bankroll to bet on football]

49ers vs Seahawks

After a devastating loss a week ago, everyone is expecting the Seahawks to rebound with a big win at home against the 49ers. Think again. The Niners running backs are explosive. That speed at the running back position has allowed the Niners to have the ninth-most runs over 20 yards this season. The 49ers are 7-1 ATS in their last 8 games as an underdog and have excelled of late when getting points. The Seahawks defense cannot get after the QB and that will be a big issue this week.

The Seahawks are a very good team, but San Franciso is better. They come into this game very confident after impressive wins without injured personnel. The Seahawks are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games against the NFC West and they will fall flat again this week against the 49ers.

Bet on the 49ers +3

The Steelers and the Ravens are considered to be one of the best rivalries in the National Football League. When they meet on the field, there is always a physical game with many fights and altercations. Since the Steelers are undefeated, this game has more intensity than a normal matchup.

Steelers Slinging It

The Steelers are the lone undefeated team in the league. Ben Roethlisberger has this offense clicking on all cylinders and the defense is a sack machine that frightens opposing signal-callers. This defense will be tested against Lamar Jackson and the Ravens this week. The Ravens made new by signing Dez Bryant to the practice squad, but he will not play in this game. But it’s the offense and Big Ben who are looking like the best unit in football.

For as great as Ben has looked he did have problems in the second half against the Titans. He turned the ball over three times and allowed the Titans to get back into the game. The Steelers needed a late missed field goal to keep the undefeated season intact.

Money Moves

The Steelers are getting a lot of love from the sports betting community. The NFL odds at the top sportsbooks are moving quickly. The Ravens were once 6 point favorites and that number has dropped and is now at 4 points at the major sports betting outlets. This is due to the overwhelming amount of money being bet on Pittsburgh. At last check, 75 percent of the money is on Pittsburgh in this game.

Steelers vs Ravens week 8 picks

The underdog does well in this series, but overall the Ravens have owned the Steelers. Pittsburgh is just 3-7 ATS in the last 11 meetings and comes into this game after a very physical matchup with Tennessee. The Ravens are off a bye week and are well-rested and they prepare well. When given extra time, they are 15-5 straight up after a bye week. The Ravens are 10-2 ATS against the AFC and 12-5 ATS in the last 17 games overall. This will be a close game early, but the Ravens will pull away and cover the spread with a resounding victory.

The New England Patriots are in trouble. Head coach Bill Belichick will have to work quickly to fix all of the issues with this team. They are heading to Buffalo to take on a Bills team that is looking to take over the AFC East. This Bills team is looking forward to this game to make a statement. After looking miserable against the New York Jets, especially on offense, this is the game that the Bills want to win.

Poor Playing Patriots

Cam Newton had his worst outing as a Patriot and he was benched. Newton finished with three turnovers and a putrid 39.7 passer rating. The once unbeatable defense was torched as they allowed over 450 yards of total offense. The 49ers converted over 50 percent of the third downs and the Pats defense allowed 7.4 yards per play. It was easily the worst game that Patriot fans had to endure in a very long time. Because of this poor play, the Patriots are underdogs this week, catching 3.5 points in Buffalo.

Patriots vs Bills predictions

It’s hard to bet against Belichick. As an underdog, he is 23-11-2 ATS. Off a loss, he is 41-17 ATS. When those two numbers are combined he is even better. He is perfect at 8-0 against the number as an underdog off of a loss. However, this is not the Patriots team that compiled those impressive betting statistics. This is a Patriots team that is 1-6-1 ATS against a team with a winning record and 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games overall.

The Bills want this game. This is by far, the most important game of the season for this squad. The Patriots have owned this team in Buffalo and it is time for revenge. The Bills are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games as a home favorite and they are set to blow the doors off the Patriots.

Raiders vs Browns pick against the spread

The Raiders were humiliated a week ago and now have to travel to Cleveland to battle the Browns. The loss to the Buccaneers has not stopped the public from backing the Silver and Black. Over 65 percent of the betting action is on the Raiders. The Browns are now 2.5 point favorites, a point down from the opener of 3.5.

NFL Super contest: It’s not too late to join the $10,000 Super contest for weeks 8-1. Winner take all, join the contest today!

The Browns lost wide receiver, Odell Beckham Jr., for the season. This is a tough loss for the Browns, but Baker Mayfield will look to build off his success against the Bengals when he fired five touchdowns. The true strength of this Browns team is the running game. This unit will have a true advantage against a Raiders defense that ranks near the bottom of the league in run-stopping stats.

The Raiders did get some good news on the offensive line as they will get some help back up front.

If you are looking for the Raiders to rebound off an awful loss, think again. The Raiders are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games following a double-digit loss at home and 0-5 ATS in their last 5 games after allowing more than 30 points in their previous game.

The Browns are 5-1-1 ATS in their last 7 games as a home favorite and 5-2-1 ATS in their last 8 home games. The edge in the trenches belongs to the Browns who will win and easily cover against the Raiders.

Falcons vs Panthers pick against the spread and predictions

Can the season get any worse for the Atlanta Falcons? The Falcons once again lost in the last-minute against the Detroit Lions. This is a reoccurring theme for Atlanta this year and it will not get any easier on Thursday night. The Falcons will travel to Carolina to take on the upstart Panthers. This betting preview provides all of the information you need to make a winning Falcons vs Panthers pick against the spread.

Thursday night odds

Despite the fact that the Falcons are struggling, there is still even betting action on this game. Top sportsbooks report split action on this game with just 51 percent of the money on Atlanta early in the week. The Panthers are 2.5 point favorites and although the line has moved a little at times, that is the prevailing number. It will really move if superstar RB Christian McCaffrey is back for the Panthers on Thursday.

CMAC Back? He Just Might…but….no

The Panthers are playing competitive football and they are keeping games close. McCaffrey is reported to be pushing to come back and play, but he is considered a longshot to suit up on Thursday night. The good news is, McCaffrey is back at practice.

The closer it gets to game time, the better it looks for CMAC suiting up and playing on Thursday night against Atlanta.

That hope diminished as game time got closer and it is now clear that he will not be in the lineup for the game against the Falcons on Thursday night football.

It’s Official: Panthers officially did not activate RB Christian McCaffrey off Injured Reserve

The Panthers have played tight against good competition and did it again last week against the Saints. The Panthers have an average margin of -0.9 through seven games. But in this game, they will be favorites and that is a change of pace for this team. QB Teddy Bridgewater was incredibly impressive against the Saints. Bridgewater bailed out the running game which was held in check. He had a 128.3 passing rating with two touchdowns.

Playing at home is an advantage because the road team has to travel and practice on a short week. This is especially true for the Panthers in the series against Atlanta. The home team in this series is 11-5 against the spread (ATS).

Floundering Falcons

The Falcons are just finding ways to lose. They are 1-6 on the season, but if three plays ended differently this team could easily be 4-3. They have big problems in the secondary, they can’t run the ball well and they have too many miscues. So why are we suggesting a bet on the Falcons?

Falcons vs Panthers pick against the spread

The Panthers are favorites and they are just 3-8 ATS in the last 11 games as chalk. Todd Gurley feels responsible for losing the game last week by scoring too early. He will be focused this week and that will allow the Falcons to run the rock. The Panthers are getting high praise for their effort and that has altered this spread. The Panthers are 0-5 ATS in the last five Thursday games and 1-5-1 ATS in the last seven home games. The Falcons are 6-1 ATS in the last 7 games on the road as an underdog. The Falcons are 5-1 ATS in the last six meetings and they win on Thursday night.

Minnesota vs Maryland predictions: Week 9 College Football Picks against the spread

Thursday college football is great but, Friday night belongs to the Big Ten in college football. The first week of Big Ten football did not disappoint as there were upsets galore and last-second nail biters. There is every reason to believe that this will be another great week in the conference. The Minnesota Golden Gophers are off a tough loss against Michigan and will now travel to Maryland to take on the Terrapins.

Big Ten Betting Odds

Although Minnesota got beat down by Michigan last week, the top sportsbooks believe that they will have an easy time this week in Maryland. Minnesota opened as 17.5 point favorites and that number has skyrocketed. The Golden Gophers are now 20.5 point favorites and over 55 percent of the betting public is willing to lay that number with Minnesota. This is not a surprise as the gophers have talent on offense and will be hard to slow down.

Maryland Miscues

Like Minnesota, Maryland had a rather ugly loss in the first week of Big Ten action. They lost 43-3 and they have little reason to be optimistic this season. Taulia Tagovailoa started at QB for Maryland, but his outing was a disaster. He had just 94 yards on the day and had three interceptions. They have been a bad bet when getting points as the Terrapins are 8-20 ATS in their last 28 games as an underdog.

Minnesota vs Maryland predictions

Minnesota is mad and focused and that is not a good sign for a Maryland team that is just not good. The Terrapins defense has big issues with gap assignments on defense. They allowed over 300 yards on the ground to Northwestern and they will have a bigger problem slowing down the Gophers. The Gophers have superstars all over the field to include Reshod Bateman who will have a field day against Maryland. The Golden Gophers are 17-5-4 ATS in their last 26 games following a loss against the spread and they are 8-3 ATS in their last 11 games overall. Minnesota will put on a scoring clinic and take down the Terrapins.
