NFL Week 12 Picks Against the Spread

Texans vs Lions

The Texans dismantled the Lions on Thanksgiving Day. When the game was over, the public made their voices heard screaming for a change at the head coaching positions in Detroit. Our betting breakdown was right on point and delivered the first easy free winner against the spread for week 12. Read the betting preview here.

Washington vs Dallas

Wow. The Dallas Cowboys are in trouble. It would have been easy to blame it on injuries since the Cowboys lost key players on the offensive line, but the play calling was abysmal. See what we predicted that went well and the many other things that went horribly wrong. See the article here.

Raiders vs Falcons

Can you smell a trap game? In our Sharps vs Squares report, we focused on this game. When everyone is watching a team on national TV and they do well, they tend to get some betting action. That is exactly what happened with the Raiders. They lost, but Derek Carr received rave reviews for his performance and many believe that they are a top contender in the AFC. Meanwhile, everyone has jumped off the Falcons bandwagon.

Despite recent struggles, the Falcons remain 2nd in the league with 280.6 passing yards per game. The Falcons are 10-4 ATS in their last 14 games as a home underdog and this line is inflated.

Falcons +3 [BET NOW and you can get the Black Friday 125% Bonus]

Giants vs Bengals

Joe Burrow, the young QB for the Bengals is lost for the season. Burrow suffered a horrific injury and the public is now firmly betting against the Bengals. The 3-win Giants now go on the road and are 6 point favorites in this cross-conference game. Although the Giants have played admirably this is obviously an overreaction to the Burrow injury.

The Bengals’ pass rush has a league-low 22.1% pressure rate, and their 3.2% sack rate is ranked 29th. Daniel Jones will have plenty of time to throw and the Giants will win this game. However, the value may be gone. To ask the Giants to cover by more than a TD is scary. It all depends on the Bengals atmosphere and how they react to the loss of Burrow.

Zac Taylor is a good coach and it will show in this game. The Bengals are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 home games. Brandon Allen is the starter and he is promoted because he is familiar with the system that Taylor has in place. This game will be very close and the Giants are overvalued.

Bengals +6 [BET NOW and get up to $1000 in sports betting perks]

Browns vs Jaguars

The Jaguars are missing some key players going into this game against the Browns. They will be without WR DJ Chark, which is not good news for Mike Glennon who will be making his first start under center for the Jags this year. This will be a breakout game for Baker Mayfield and the Cleveland Browns. They are a contender, but they get little respect. A big win over the Jaguars will not change minds, but it will build confidence on a team that is headed for the playoffs.

If Jacksonville has a bright spot it’s RB James Robinson who posted 94 yards on the ground against a difficult Steelers defense. But he can’t do it alone. Cleveland will load the box and focus on the run. They will smoother this offense. The Jaguars are 2-5 ATS vs. a team with a winning record and 2-6 ATS in their last 8 games overall. Give the points, the Browns beat up the Jags by double-digits.

Browns -7 [Bet like a HIGHROLLER at this elite sportsbook!]

Colts vs Titans

if 2020 has taught us anything, it’s that you need to know what teams are feeling the effects of COVID before you place a bet. In this game it is the Colts who are reeling with key players missing this big game.

We will see just how deep the roster is for the Colts in this game. The Colts are deep and they are very talented, but this is just too many players not playing that have a direct impact on the game. The Colts have already beaten the Titans and that is not a good thing with this quick turnaround. Since 2000, teams that meet within two weeks of their first meeting, the team the lost the first meeting is 17-7-1 ATS in the second matchup. Derrick Henry and the Titans get revenge.

Titans+3 [BET NOW before the spread changes. The best line can be found here

Panthers vs Vikings

The Vikings and the Panthers have been too difficult teams to read this season. They have had games where they looked remarkable and other games where they have struggled to play a full game. When they play this week there will be little room for error as the teams attempt to make a run at the playoffs.

The Panther’s defense is off a shutout and they have played good football all season long. Bridgewater is expected back in the lineup. The Panthers are the only NFL team with two players over 800-plus receiving yards this season and the offense is moving the ball. Trusting Kirk Cousins to get wins, is not a solid investment. The Vikings are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games as a home favorite and the Panthers are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 road games.

Panthers +3 [BET NOW and get weekly cashback betting on sports]

Cardinals vs Patriots

The Patriots have to be one of the most confusing teams to read this year. They have played with or beaten some of the best teams in the NFL this year like the Seahawks and the Ravens. Then they go and fall flat against weaker teams in the league like the Jets, Broncos, and the Texans. This week they get a step-up in talent when they take on the Arizona Cardinals.

This is a spot to trust Cam Newton and the Pats. This is the last home game before the Patriots embark on a three-game road trip. The Cardinals are making the cross-country trip and they will be without Larry Fitgerald. The Patriots activated Sony Michel and they will have a full arsenal of rushers to go up against this defense. The Cardinals rank 23rd against the run, allowing 124.7 yards per game and that is a big edge for the home team.

The Cardinals are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games as a favorite and they have no business being road favorites in this game. The 8-1 ATS in their last 9 games as a home underdog and are the best bet for this game.

Patriots +2 [BET NOW and get the big bucks as a VIP player in this highly rated sportsbook]

Saints vs Broncos

The Saints hit the road to take on Denver. Taysom Hill will make his first road start and it won’t be easy going up against a Dom Capers led defense. The Saints are the most popular pick by the public in the 4:00 window and betting against the public in this game is the way to go. This would have qualified as one of the best plays of the day, but COVID had other ideas.

The Broncos are 10-3 ATS in their last 13 games after accumulating more than 350 total yards in their previous game and the Saints have failed to cover 4 of the last 5 games in Denver. As long as the Broncos have a QB that can suit up on Sunday, the Broncos are the best wager to make.

It may seem dangerous betting on a team without a QB and it is. This game is a pass, but since the title of the article is “NFL Picks for every game”, here is the pick. Look for a watered-down game plan and a run-first approach with a wildcat flavor for the Broncos. They will not win, but they will keep it under two TDs.

Broncos +15 [BET HERE and claim a 50% bonus, good up to $1000 to bet on the NFL]

Dolphins vs Jets

We get it, the Jets are bad. It’s stunning to see that Adam Gase still has a job as a head coach in the National Football League. But with that being said, this is the game to bet on the Jets. Sam Darnold will make a return to the lineup and this will be the first game where the Jets finally field a healthy offensive squad featuring all of the playmakers. Home underdogs in divisional games are 14-4 ATS this season and the Jets are also 3-1 ATS in their past four games after starting the season 0-6. The Dolphins are 2-11 ATS as division road favorites of more than three points and although they will win, this spread is just too big for this Dolphins team.

Jets +7 [Prefer playing in the casino over betting on this game? Get 45 free spins and go after the jackpot!]

Chargers vs Bills

This is a game that caught our eye early in the week. The sharps were betting on the Chargers regardless of the fact that they are traveling across the country to play this game. The Chargers may not be winning, but they keep games close. They have never lost a game by more than one score and they have recently activated RB Austin Ekeler. Justin Herbert is a deep passing sharpshooter and he will benefit from having a healthy running back.

Rookie QB Justin Herbert has thrown for 2,699 yards and 22 touchdowns, both top-10 in the NFL this season. He has instant chemistry with WR Keenan Allen who leads the league in targets and receptions. The Chargers are 13-6-2 ATS in their last 21 road games and the Bills are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games following a straight-up loss.

You get the point, the Chargers are the play.

Chargers +4.5 [BET NOW and get the big bucks with a bankroll busting bonus of 125%]

Ravens vs Steelers

This game has more storylines that we can mention in this article. COVID concerns, big named players ailing and the Steelers complaining. Will this game be played? If so, when will it be played? Get the latest information and all of the changes for this big game in the AFC North, in our betting preview HERE.

Chiefs vs Buccaneers

Patrick Mahomes vs Tom Brady and this game is not worthy of a prime time spot? The Buccaneers flopped last week and that has the public buying into the Chiefs. Rumors of tension between head coach and star QB is another reason to bet against the Buccaneers. But before you do that, make sure that you read this preview.

49ers vs Rams

The 49ers have problems. It’s bad enough that the team has been hindered by injuries all season long, but now they have to find a new place to play football games.

This is a management problem and not a player’s problem. This means that the players will be focused on the Rams this week. The 49ers love this series and they have beaten the Rams in three straight games to include earlier this season. The 49ers have cashed in for bettors in seven of the last 10 games as underdogs. The Rams are 5-11-2 ATS in their last 18 home games vs. a team with a losing road record and will be in a tough spot yet again in this game.

The 49ers are well-rested off a bye week. They expect to have Deebo Samuel, top running back Raheem Mostert, and standout cornerback Richard Sherman back in the lineup. In a divisional meeting between two well-coached teams, taking the points I always a good idea.

Bears vs Packers

The Chicago Bears are in the midst of problems on offense. Serious problems. Aaron Rodgers and the Packers are headed towards another playoff berth and hosting their rivals on Sunday Night Football is a perfect way to wrap up the week. We have the latest news and the one trend that you have to see before betting on this game. Read the article…

Monday Night Football

Seahawks vs Eagles

No one in the NFL had a worse week than Carson Wentz. The Philadelphia quarterback is under fire for his poor play and maybe rightfully so. Russell Wilson and the Seahawks are road warriors and need this game to keep up with the other teams in the best division in football. This is a game that the sportsbooks will be watching very closely and here is why.

Seahawks vs Eagles Predictions

Monday Night Football Picks: Seahawks vs Eagles Predictions

In the NFL they save the best games for prime-time. Thanksgiving had a good schedule, although the Ravens/Steelers game was moved. The Chiefs vs Buccaneers game may have deserved a primetime slot, but at least the Bears vs Packers is a rivalry game. However, somehow, on Monday Night Football we are going to be treated to a game featuring the Seattle Seahawks and the Philadelphia Eagles. It has lost a little of its luster with the problems in Philadelphia, but we still made our Seahawks vs Eagles predictions.

Sportsbook Need This Game

We pointed out early last week in our Sharps vs Squares betting action report, that the Seahawks are a popular bet this week. Not much has changed as we approach kickoff. Over 65 percent of the bets are coming in on the road team and it is obvious that the sportsbooks are cheering for the Eagles. The spread has jumped over two points and can now bet at Seattle -5 at the majority of high roller sportsbooks.

More Free PIcks: Would you like to get free picks against the spread for every game? Consider it done. Get all of the picks here.

Bench Wentz?

The biggest debate in Philadelphia is whether or not the Eagles should bench quarterback Carson Wentz. Many argue that is not all on the quarterback since they have had a slew of injuries on offense. Others will argue that his numbers are so bad that they have no other choice, but to bench Wentz. The Seahawks had a few players chime in on the debate.

This can be the sort of “bulletin board material” that the Eagles need to get motivated for this Monday night matchup.

Run Eagles Run

The Eagles have been behind in many games this season which has made it difficult to feature the run. But when the Eagles run, they do it well. The Eagles are third in the league in rush average at 5.0 and RB Miles Sanders has the second-highest rush average in the league. Philly may have a difficult time running against a Seahawks defense that is fourth in rushing yards allowed. This again puts the pressure squarely on Wentz to get the win.

Wilson and the Deep Ball

Russell Wilson has an arm and he likes to use it. Wilson can air it out on any given play to DK Metcalf or Tyler Lockett. It would seem like the Seahawks may have success against an Eagles team that is ranked 20th in pass defense DVOA, but not deep. The Eagles are actually solid at defending deep passes and are third in the NFL at giving up pass plays of 20 or more yards. Chris Carson is expected to be back for Seattle, but the Eagles rank a respectable 11th in the league allowing only 4.2 yards per rush.

Seahawks vs Eagles Predictions

This is a must-win for the Eagles. Not only are they still alive for the NFC East division, but they have to take some pressure off of Went and off the team. The Seahawks have wilted under the lights of late. In the last four road games under the primetime lights, Seattle is just 1-3 both straight-up and ATS. On the other hand, the Eagles are 8-1 in the last nine games at home in primetime.  The Eagles will get the upset victory and win on Monday night football.

Eagles +5

Bears vs Packers Picks

Sunday Night Football Predictions: Bears vs Packers Picks

The Chicago Bears and the Green Bay Packers have a storied history. They are considered to be one of the best rivalries in the National Football League. Many claim that the title now belongs to the Steelers vs Ravens, but it is the Packers hosting the Bears that will get the Sunday night spotlight this week. Sure it could have been, Chiefs vs Bucs, but this game will do. The Week 12 odds have been changing on this game so read between the lines before making Bears vs Packers picks.

Beat Down Bears

The Bears have lost four straight games after getting beat down by the Vikings. The main problem for this team is an offense that only gained 149 total yards of offense in that loss. Nick Foles is suffering from an injury and so is Mitchell Trubisky, leaving the starting QB a question mark leading up to kickoff. Foles took over in week 3 and over that time span, he has tossed 8 interceptions in 287 pass attempts. Lucikly for the Bears, it looks like he will be sidelined and Mitch Trubisky will get the start.

More Free PIcks: Would you like to get free picks against the spread for every game? Consider it done. Get all of the picks here.

Boost to the Bears Offense

The Bears did get some good news when they found out that running back David Montgomery is cleared for a return. He is the best running back on this team, but they still have issues running. The Bears rank 31st in yards per carry (3.6), 32nd in rushing yards per game (78.2), and runs less often (33.7% of its plays) than anyone in the NFL. Montgomery only averages 3.6 yards per carry and since entering the league he is last in the NFL in that category.

Packers Special Problems

The Pacers are having an incredible season led by QB Aaron Rodgers, but they still have some issues, especially on special teams. In the last five outings, the special teams have allowed a blocked punt, punt-return touchdown, and turned the ball over. The Bears Cordarrelle Patterson is a special team’s deadly weapon, who returned a kickoff for a TD last week.

Bears vs Packers Picks

It’s almost impossible to bet the Bears. The Bear’s defense is incredible, but it wears down with no help on offense. The Bears are 1-6 against the Packers on Sunday night football and have lost the last four meetings. The Bears are 3-8 ATS in the last 11 road games and 7-15 ATS in the last 22 games overall. And at Lambeau Field when playing against an NFC North opponent Rodgers is a stellar 22-12 ATS. The favorite is 13-6 ATS in the last 19 meetings and the Packers win big again.

Packers -8.5

Chiefs vs Buccaneers Pick against the spread

Chiefs vs Buccaneers Pick against the spread and predictions

The Kansas City Chiefs and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are easily the best game of the week. Thanksgiving Day had some decent games until they moved the Ravens vs Steelers to Sunday, but this is still hands-down the best game of the week. It could have easily been the Sunday night game of the week. Alas, it’s still going to be a good one and we cannot wait to reveal our Chiefs vs Buccaneers Pick against the spread.

Bet Against Brady

After another ugly showing by Buccaneers QB Tom Brady in a prime time game, the public is ready to quit betting on Brady. After all, he does have some ugly numbers this season. He is averaging just 10.6 yards per attempt and his interception rate (2.1%) is his highest in 11 years. He has thrown nine interceptions and five in the last three games.

Over 63 percent of the wagers are coming in on the Chiefs as favorites in this game. The money coming in wagered on this game is enough to shift the spread. The Chiefs were once 3 point favorites, but are now 3.5 point chalk in this matchup.

More Free PIcks: Would you like to get free picks against the spread for every game? Consider it done. Get all of the picks here.

Chip in the Chiefs Plan

The Chiefs have the AFC West all but wrapped up and they are trailing the Steelers as they fight for home-field advantage. So although all seems well for the Chiefs, they do have some glaring issues, especially on defense. Last week against the Raiders, the Chiefs allowed 9.1 yards per play on 3rd down and an incredible 60% conversion rate. The Chiefs rank at the bottom of the NFL in run defense. The explosive offense hides this weakness, but that will be difficult to do against the Buccaneer’s deep and talented offense.

Chiefs vs Buccaneers Pick against the spread

If the Buccaneers are going to win this game they will have to put up at least 29 points. The Buccaneers are 5-0 straight up and 4-1 against the spread when they eclipse this mark. The defense is the secret to winning this game. This defense has 19 takeaways (14 INTs and five fumbles) and 32 sacks on the season. Overall the Bucs have the edge on defense. Points in this matchup of two great quarterbacks are just too hard to pass up.

Buccaneers +3.5

College Football Picks Against the Spread for November 27

College Football Picks Against the Spread for November 27

The NFL dominates on Thanksgiving, but Friday is made for college football. Everyone is shopping on Black Friday and we are shopping for the best bets on a busy collegiate schedule. With a dozen games to choose from, we have found our top college football picks against the spread for November 27.

Iowa State vs Texas [BET NOW]

One of the reasons that Friday Football after Thanksgiving is so great is because top-ranked teams face off. That is the case in the Big 12 when the No. 20 ranked Longhorns play against the No. 15 ranked Cyclones. The Cyclones are looking to avoid letdown late in the season. The Cyclones are 9-6 in the final month of the season. With wins against Texans and West Virginia in the title game they can win a conference title for the first time since 1912. The Nation’s leading rusher, Breece Hall who has amassed over 1100 yards and 15 touchdowns will have to carry the load against Texas.

Tom Herman knows how to get his team ready with extra time to prepare. Texas is 7-1 after an open week under Herman. The Longhorns sports a run defense that ranks 16th nationally in yards allowed per rush and they will have all eyes on Hall in this game.

The Cyclones are just 1-4 against the spread (ATS) in the last five games against a team with a winning record. They are also 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games after scoring more than 40 points in their previous game. Texas is a perfect 4-0 ATS in the last four meetings and they win again on Friday.

Texas -1.5 [Black Friday Special: Use promo code BLITZ and get a 125% huge bonus to bet on sports!]

Notre Dame vs North Carolina [BET NOW]

The biggest game on Friday is obviously the monumental tilt between the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and the North Carolina Tar Heels. The No. 2 Irish will look for another impressive win as they try and march towards a championship game, but it won’t be easy. The Irish will be without two key players on the offensive line, as Tommy Kraemer and Jarrett Patterson are out against North Carolina. The Irish have depth up front, but losing players have this magnitude is something to be concerned with. This is an offensive line that has allowed just 13 sacks, which is tied for first in the ACC.

It is not stopping the public from betting on the Irish as over 70 percent of the early bets are on Notre Dame in this game. If you read our NFL sharps vs squares betting action report, you know that kind of number raises some eyebrows.

North Carolina has two losses on the season, but those were by a combined 6-points, which means they play to the final whistle. QB Sam Howell is a better-than-average signal-caller and although he plays behind an average offensive line, he excels at adjusting against coverages. Mack Brown had extra time to script the first few drives and I look for unique play-calling in the biggest game of the year for the Tar Heels.

The Tar Heels are 25-7 ATS in their last 32 home games against a team with a winning road record and 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games as a home underdog. This one will be close and the Irish are on upset alert.

North Carolina +5.5 [Black Friday Bonus: Bet using Crypto and claim a150% bonus to boost your bankroll!]

Oregon vs Oregon State [BET NOW]

The nightcap on Black Friday features a rivalry game as Oregon and Oregon State clash for more than just bragging rights. The ninth-ranked Oregon Ducks are the better team, but in a rivalry game, anything can happen. The Ducks opened up as 16-.5 favorites but that number is slowly dropping, although over 64 percent of the wagers are on Oregon. The spread is now below a touchdown and can be found at 13.5 at the best sportsbooks.

The Beavers are slowly improving and are coming off the first win of the season after beating the Cal Bears. A win against the Ducks would mark the first victory against the Ducks since 2016. In order to keep this game close, the Oregon State defense will have to take advantage of an Oregon offense that has turned the ball over six times this season. The Beavers will run the ball behind Jermar Jefferson and attempt to blast a Ducks defense that gives up more than five yards a carry.

The Ducks have dominated the series of late (6-1 ATS) but they are 4-10 ATS in their last 14 games after accumulating less than 100 yards rushing in their previous game. The Beavers have covered five of the last six games overall and they are a perfect 5-0 ATS in the last five games as an underdog.

It won’t be pretty, but the Beavers keep this game close.

Oregon State +13.5

Why Track the Sharps and the Squares?

Generally speaking, you do not want to bet on the same side as the public. More often they not. The same thing cannot be said for the sharp side. The sharps are betting on the teams that win. That is the side you want to be on. Since it is not always easy to tell who is betting on what, we break it down for you in an easy to use format. If you followed this free advice over the last two weeks your betting record is at 11-1 against the spread (ATS). With that being said, let’s check in with the public and the smart money for Week 12 in the NFL.

Who is the Public Betting on?

Last week we posted the plays that were getting bet early by the public. The public did not disappoint as they failed once again loading up on the Chiefs and the Dolphins. Using the early picks posted here you would have gone 2-1 last week and 5-1 ATS in the last two weeks going against the public. The Texans are the most popular play on Thanksgiving, but the public is really pounding two other games this weekend.

The Raiders are one of the most popular plays on the board this week garnering over 70 percent of the early betting action as three-point road favorites against the lowly Falcons. This is a reaction to how well the Raiders played on national television against the Chiefs, who are considered one of the best teams in the league. It does not help that the Falcons are having a down season and were trounced by the Saints without Drew Brees.

The Raiders are popular but the most popular play by far is on Monday Night Football. Over 85 percent of the early betting is on the Seattle Seahawks to win and cover against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Teams the public is betting on: Seattle, Texans, Raiders, and Titans. [BET against the public with this 125% Bonus!]

Who are the Sharps Betting on?

The Sharps were at it again and our posted plays went 3-0 ATS for the second week in a row as Washington, Las Vegas, and Tennessee all cashed in for the smart players. The sharps have found a few more games that we have circled for the upcoming week.

Let’s start in Jacksonville where the Jaguars will host the surprising Browns. Jacksonville has played tough football against good teams and no one seems to believe in the Browns., except for the sharps this week. Although 55 percent of the bets are on the Jaguars the Browns have moved from -6 to -7, which is an indication that the Sharps are buying the Browns.

Josh Allen and the Bills are atop the AFC East with a promising season. The Chargers make a trip cross country for this game and the public is backing Buffalo with 55% of the wagers. Despite the public money, the line is dropping. The Bills were once 6 point favorites but now are just 5 point chalk. This means the sharps are backing the Bolts in this game and so should you.

Washington Bringing the D

The Washington Football Team has a very good defense that will be on display in this game that will be a battle for first place in the NFC East. Chase Young provides the pass rush upfront and they are tied for third with 32 sacks in the season. The secondary is harassing opposing passing offenses. Washington ranks first in the NFL in passing yards allowed per game and they have nine interceptions on the year. Andy Dalton returned under center for the Cowboys and looked great against the Vikings, but he faces a step up in competition against Washington.

Betting Breakdown

The Cowboys got a boost to their offensive line by reshuffling upfront and inserting Zach Martin into the right tackle position. The results were seen instantly.

Thanksgiving has not been kind to the Cowboys of late as they have only covered 1 of the last nine games on Turkey Day. However, they have dominated Washington winning 11 of the last 15 meetings.

Washington vs Dallas Pick Against the Spread

Washington is well-coached and they are underrated especially on offense. Alex Smith is playing smart football and scoring points behind the dynamic duo of Terry McLaurin and Antonio Gibson. Washington currently holds the second-best sack per pass attempt percentage (10.39%) and will have constant pressure on Dalton all day long.

Predictions: Washington 20 Cowboys 17

Bet: Washington +3

Winning With Watson

The Texans had the best game of the year in the win over the Patriots. QB Deshaun Watson was impressive in the win as he is the driving force behind this team. He had 344 yards and did not throw an interception in this game. This is the fifth game in a row that he has avoided tossing a turnover, which is a big reason why this team is looking better on the football field.

Betting Breakdown

The Texans are just 3-7 ATS this season and 1-4 ATS on the road, but it’s hard to make a case for the Detroit Lions. This time looks as though they have given up on the season. Several key players are injured and it looks as though HC Matt Patricia is sitting on the hot seat. To make matters worse the Lions are 6-14 ATS in the last 20 games.

The Texans defense played very well against New England. Now they face a Lions offense that was shut out against Carolina. This is unusual for QB Matthew Stafford who has avoided a shutout in  162 career starts before posting a goose egg in this outing.

Texans vs Lions Pick Against the Spread

It’s hard to bet on Detroit. They have no home-field advantage and this team is all about done. The injury list deserves watching as this game gets closer. The Texans hope that LT Tunsil plays this week and Detroit will hope that RB Swift and WR Golladay will be available on this short week. The Lions have only won three times in the last 12 games against the AFC. If you are going to bet on Houston, get the line now since the Lions will be bet against all week.

Predictions: Texans 30 Lions 24

Bet: Texans -3

Ravens Battle COVID-19

News broke on Monday that the Ravens are dealing with COVID-19 yet again. They closed the facilities and this is news worth watching as we get closer to kick-off to see what players or coaches may miss the game.

Lamar is Out

Lamar Jackson is the latest causality for the Ravens who now will be missing a slew of players for the game against the Steelers. That is if the game is actually played.

Betting Breakdown

The Ravens are deep in the running backfield and they will be okay if the players mentioned above cannot suit up for this game. This will be the first time this year that the Ravens are underdogs and they are desperate for a win. The Ravens lost to the Steelers in the first meeting but it was Lamar Jackson giving away the game with four turnovers. He will be hard-pressed once again by a Steelers defense that has allowed the third-fewest points in the NFL.

Ben Roethlisberger deserves to be in the MVP conversation for the way that he has played this season. But the first meeting reveals that the Ravens outgained the Steelers 457-221 and had 29 more plays than Pittsburgh and that is something to take note of.

Ravens vs Steelers Pick Against the Spread

The Ravens respond on the road as they are 10-1 straight up and 7-4 ATS in the last 11 road games. They are also 5-1 ATS when getting 3 points or more. The Steelers are one of the best teams in the NFL. However, the Ravens have a point differential of (+73) which suggests that they are playing better than their record indicates. Finally, road underdogs off a loss are 73-50-5 ATS spread and the Ravens give the Steelers the first loss of the season.

***CHANGE NOV 27th****

The odds have now changed and the Steelers are -4.5 according to the latest sportsbooks. This game is currently rated as a pass. Although the over/under may be an option. Stay tuned for updates and changes.

Monday Night Football may have the best game of them all as the LA Rams head to Florida to take on Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Make Brady Sweat

If the Rams want to win they have to put pressure on Tom Brady. Obviously, Aaron Donald is one of the best at getting after the QB. The Los Angeles defense is fourth in the NFL in sacks per pass attempt. Overall the Rams have piled up 31 sacks on the season which ranks third in the National Football League. Brady is known for a quick release to avoid pressure, but his average of 10.8 yards gained per completion is his lowest since 2002.

Run Rams Run

Although the Rams have new players in the backfield, they emphasize the run. Darrell Henderson, Malcolm Brown Cam Akers, all carry the ball and it works as the Rams average 134.2 yards per game and 4.3 yards per carry. But for as well as they run, the Rams run more than 70% of their offense out of three-receiver sets, which makes the play-action a deadly weapon in a game of this magnitude. Combine that with the protection that they give Goff (ranking sixth in sacks-per-pass-play) and this offense will put up big numbers in this game.

Coaches Out For the Bucs

The Buccaneers will be shorthanded for this game from a coaching standpoint.

Rams vs Buccaneers Pick against the Spread

The Rams are a true live dog on Monday Night Football. They have the running game to control the clock and the pass-rushing pressure to get after Brady. The Rams have cashed four of the last five as a road puppy and the Buccaneers are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games following a straight-up win. Rams get a statement road win under the lights.

Rams +4
