Clemson will go up against Boston College this weekend and they will not have Lawerence in the lineup. This year Lawrence has once-again looked stellar, with 1,833 passing yards and 17 touchdowns to two interceptions. Lawrence posted a message on social media after the announcement went public.

Lawrence hopes to be cleared for the next game when the Tigers go up against No. 4 Notre Dame for a 7:30 p.m. kickoff next Saturday.

Next Man Up

With Lawrence out, the Tigers will turn to freshman DJ Uiagalelei who has completed 12-of-19 passes for 102 yards this season. He has also rushed for two touchdowns. He is a versatile option, but coach Dabo Swinney may have to simplify and change up his approach on offense.
