Beat Down Bears
The Bears have lost four straight games after getting beat down by the Vikings. The main problem for this team is an offense that only gained 149 total yards of offense in that loss. Nick Foles is suffering from an injury and so is Mitchell Trubisky, leaving the starting QB a question mark leading up to kickoff. Foles took over in week 3 and over that time span, he has tossed 8 interceptions in 287 pass attempts. Lucikly for the Bears, it looks like he will be sidelined and Mitch Trubisky will get the start.
For the second straight day, Bears’ QB Nick Foles did not practice due to his hip injury while Mitchell Trubisky was a full participant at practice. Trubisky now tracking to start Sunday vs. Packers.

Boost to the Bears Offense
The Bears did get some good news when they found out that running back David Montgomery is cleared for a return. He is the best running back on this team, but they still have issues running. The Bears rank 31st in yards per carry (3.6), 32nd in rushing yards per game (78.2), and runs less often (33.7% of its plays) than anyone in the NFL. Montgomery only averages 3.6 yards per carry and since entering the league he is last in the NFL in that category.
Packers Special Problems
The Pacers are having an incredible season led by QB Aaron Rodgers, but they still have some issues, especially on special teams. In the last five outings, the special teams have allowed a blocked punt, punt-return touchdown, and turned the ball over. The Bears Cordarrelle Patterson is a special team’s deadly weapon, who returned a kickoff for a TD last week.
Bears vs Packers Picks
It’s almost impossible to bet the Bears. The Bear’s defense is incredible, but it wears down with no help on offense. The Bears are 1-6 against the Packers on Sunday night football and have lost the last four meetings. The Bears are 3-8 ATS in the last 11 road games and 7-15 ATS in the last 22 games overall. And at Lambeau Field when playing against an NFC North opponent Rodgers is a stellar 22-12 ATS. The favorite is 13-6 ATS in the last 19 meetings and the Packers win big again.
