The Boston Celtics odds keep getting better and better every day. The NBA restart is going to be interesting to say the least. Players are opting out or testing positive and this can provide a tough road for any team. However, the Celtics are getting a lot of love from basketball betting prognosticators who are picking this team to win the NBA Championship. The Lakers odds show that they are the current favorite, but all eyes are on Boston.

The NBA schedule in Orlando sets up nicely for the Celtics, but they have one glaring problem. One of the problems with this Celtics team is the lack of size. They have rotated players at the center position, but have had trouble guarding big men like Giannis Antetokounmpo and Joel Embiid. Brad Stevens is an excellent head coach and knows how to plan for a weakness like this, but it won’t be easy. Some of even suggested that Marcus Smart take over guarding the center position. This is one of the reasons that the Sixers took the first three of four head-to-head battles.

Don’t Buy Boston

Boston has a very deep team and they are very good. The Boston Celtics odds are 14-1 to win an NBA Championship. Only the Bucks have better odds to win it all (+275). The Celtics are an enticing wager at that price, but the chances that they get out of the East are slim. If they manage to get out of the East beating Anthony Davis and LeBron James is a very tough task. The Celtics are a very popular bet and that is not usually a good thing. Stay away from Boston.
