The XFL season has kicked off and the first week was a success! If you are not familiar with the XFL here is everything that you need to know before watching and wagering. Week 1 was loaded with comebacks, great plays, and big names putting on a show. It’s time to make the XFL 2023 Week 2 picks and predictions against the spread.
St. Louis Battlehawks vs Seattle Sea Dragons
The Sea Dragons are small (-2.5) favorites and will go up against one of the most popular teams in the XFL. St. Louis mounted an incredible comeback in the first week and that may be a sign that this team is destined for greatness. But Seattle has an incredible home-field advantage and will be focused after a difficult loss.

DC Defenders vs Vegas Vipers
The Vipers are (-2.5) favorites and looking for the first win of the season. The DC Defenders are looking to ride momentum from the first win of the season, but it won’t be easy. Vegas QB Luis Perez flashed some quality play under center in the opener, but he is prone to turnovers. The Defenders have a savvy defensive coordinator in Greg Williams who will know how to pressure the quarterback and cause turnovers. DC will get another win to remain undefeated.

San Antonio Brahmas vs Orlando Guardians
San Antonio is the only road favorite in week 2 as they are (-3.5) favorites. That is more of an indication of just how bad Orlando maybe after getting dominated in Week 1. The Orlando offensive line allowed seven sacks in the opener and the defense allowed 24 unanswered points in the season opener. The Guardians are not a very good football team and San Antonio will win easily.

Arlington Renegades vs Houston Roughnecks
These are the two best teams in the XFL. Houston is a (-3.5) favorite in this contest, but both teams have superior talent, good coaching, and the ability to win it all this season. This will be the game of the week. Houston dominated in week 1 and the Renegades had a comeback win. With two quality defenses and a slow offensive plan, the only play is to take the points. This one will go to the wire.
